The Winners Revealed!

We recently asked you lovely lot to answer the following question in 200 words or less:

"In Pure's World Tour mode, you can explore towering mountain peaks, ride the rim around an active volcano, jump gaping chasms, and delve into the deepest jungles. If you could take your Pure quad bike anywhere for the ultimate in heart-pounding off-road racing, where would you go and why?"

We've had some fantastical entries - but the one that made MB giggle was the one that won!

Congratulations SuperSonicBoyUK for this thoroughly random entry:

"I'd take my quad to New Zealand! Purely for the sheep and the awesome mountain views. Knit me a jumper!!"

You win some signed Pure Artwork and a copy of the game!!! Hurrah! Now - knit me a jumper.

Our runners up each get a copy of the game for their insanely imaginative entries - you are:

  • Shakh
  • Centrinoduo91
  • ZootSuit
  • HNKS
  • LethalUK
  • Choppy15
  • Rock-Shayde
  • SengoKu21
  • Scarfell

Congratulations!!!!

All of the winners need to contact MB via PM with their delivery address.

Thanks for taking part people, dont forget to check this stuff out:

If i has a quad-bike i'd take it to a desert. I could go for miles racing against any, or anything. I could just imagine doing a jump of a huge sand dune....I'd probably die with fear if something moved though. But i could go to the north pole with it or egypt up a pyramid! Thats it. I'm getting a quad and doing this :smileytongue:

I could go on for hours :smileytongue:

Quad BIke :smileyhappy:

If i had a quad bike my dream would be to take it for a ride through the vast coverage of the Amazon rainforest. The thrill of cruising through one of the most magical places in the world would make anyone feel invincible. After cruising through the Amazon i would get off the quad bike and go fishing in the nearby river.

(I love Fishing :smileyhappy:)
good luck all :smileyhappy:

I would take it to the bottom of the ocean to the endless depths to meet various creatures, then, I would take a ride through the jungle chasing some animals and racing some too!

If I had a quad, I'd take it to the Cheddar Gorge, where I'd attempt to jump it. Failing miserably, but still becoming stuff of legends as "the guy who was no where near jumping over Cheddar Gorge, but good on him for trying. May he Rest in Pieces".

I would take mine off the edge of the grand canyon and get tonnes of air (before hitting the bottom ouch!), then off to the moon for some serious low gravity lunar fun!

I would take mine high up in a plane over france with rocket boosters and wings attached to it then try to jump across the english channel with it. I would even organize a race against the man who did it with a jet pack.

I'd ride my Quadbike to the shop, grab some Iron Bru and then go and do a backflip of Everest with it. Nothing strange really. :smileyindifferent:

I would take my Quad Bike to the Alps. Steep slopes, rough terrain, and the opportunity to catch the air of a lifetime, where the mountains below try in vain to reach the heights to which I have ascended. I'd care little about the dangers below, as it would be some time before I would reach them, soaring at heights even birds dare not fly to. A white, alien landscape as far as I can see...that is where I would ride.

If I could take my PURE quad bike anywhere I would take it to the depths of the magnificent Iceland. Its contrasting baron wasteland and glaciers galore would entreat the wheels. With huge mountains and ice caps, deserted towns and making the breath taking jump of going from the American Plate to the Eurasian plate on a quad bike is more than enough to please and adventurous go getter. Riding through and under wonderful waterfalls would wash me away.. The rocks watch in strange shapes and sizes like none seen before, jumping gorges with hundred foot drops, cliff faces that carry on forever, and cascading glaciers. Riding on a temporary rickety bridge to the Heiymay islands just off the south coast would bring a chill down my neck ans a shiver down the spine as the wheels rip up the black sands on the beaches. Driving through and dodging Geysers to feel the spray splatter on my goggles, sliding along frozen lakes to create the ultimate breathtaking experience.

I'd like to take a Pure quad bike to Norway because it's got everything you want: glaciers, mountains, lakes, snow, mud and forests. Oh and the culture too.

If I had a Pure quadbike I would take it everywhere

I'd ride it up tall slopes and down big sets of stairs

Burning around, popping wheelies, doing dounuts is what I'd do

And when I hit a jump real fast in the air I'd do a trick or two

If I could take my quad to just one place I know where that would be

I'd take it down to a sunny beach and use it to impress the ladys

id take my Pure quadbike... to the Moon! its unknown territory. extremely dark, er, on one side anyway, a fantastic view, craters the size of a small houses with dangerous rocky obstacles (and all that space junk thats been left up there too), and thats not even mentioning the cheese-skidding and possible 'close encounters' with the wildlife. and for the ultimate high, the gravity lets you get the biggest jumps ever... out of this world! just think how many stunts could you do before landing on Mars, eh?

I would take my quad to the ski slopes of the alps. The only sounds I hear is the howel of the wind and the pounding of my heart. Snow in the wind obstructing my view. The peaceful sound of nothing is interupted by the revving of the enigine and the spinning of the wheels as they struggle for grip. Picking up speed I turn in and strugle to control the powerslide around the tight corner that seemed so easy when on a set of skis. Powering out the corner the rear wheels hang off the edge of the cliff and some how gain grip . Powering down the slope with skiiers and snowborders passing by inches from my tyres. I duck and dodge the trees and their branches. Then seeing the opening in the trees I accelerate and hold my breath as the quad lifts off the ground and gets air. You land and slow the quad down with a powerslide and look back at the slope and say "lets do that again."

I'd take my quad bike to the Highlands on Scotland where it's would be quiet uninhabited, no human contruction, and has lots of terrain to tear up. Plus when you're not screaming down a mountain you could be dodging trees in a thick forrest.

My post never showed =/

When I first read the question, I thought "the moon has less gravity so you would get awesome air" then I read the rest of your post :smileysad:

I would attempt to become the first man to travel the world on a quad, living on nothing but wotsits. Failing that, I would modify my quad in three ways. Armoured quad, to become a merc and fight my own war against under age beta testers (lol), submarine quad, to get underwater off-road action, and space quad, to find aliens on mars... or just the Sony Mods secret Moon base.
