Nah I have never played a SOCOM game before but I will definetly look into this game.

Shame about being so close to KZ2 whose idea was that Shijima?

hey, speaking of people that are interested have already brought it. i did buy it but couldnt seem to get hooked onto. dont ask me why but yea didnt get into to so im selling my copy on ebay. (sorry for the plug but yeah) if people are interested heres the link

Sorry guys, I didn't realise the ANZ release dates were different to Europe (albeit only very slightly).  Thanks to FurySevenSix for correcting me on that!

Also, as I'm a busy chap I don't really get much opportunity to contribute to these forums, but I'm more active in the UK forum.  Feel free to drop by there from time to time to check out any news and I will always keep an eye on things here when my busy schedule allows...

Thanks Shijima. I just had a question about the servers.

In a recent post of yours you mentioned that there was a server located in Australia. I assume you must have been reffering to the Australasia Server? However, a clan member of mine pinged the server and from the results it appears that the server is infact not located in Australia but in North America.

Just wondering when the game is officially released here in Australia, whether or not the Australasia server will be then located in Australia?

not sure what you mean by flow, but I haven't seen anyone go back to COD after playing socom. cod isnt really a serious online game. That being said i did play COD for over 100 hour.

80% of people who play socom wont go to another online game on the PS3

EB Games managers today received a free copy of SOCOM. People may get lucky if no one in the store owns a PS3, or if no staff members like playing online.
