Wakey wakey, rise and shine people!

Your browser does not support iframes.

Hey, some great work this week. Check it out - look how well Pudgeeagogo did!

Let's aim a bit higher next week. Let's see if we can regain 10% of the total!

C'mon everyone! We can do it!

Ok...I'm getting a little annoyed. Is this randomiser completely random because I've never got any of the one people are getting (except for that week). Moshii you got my hopes up :smileysad:

I stacked another 10000m in yesterday and no bonus... although in the morning it came in at 726! :smileyvery-happy:

I wish I'd waited a bit now to make the most of it.

TBH now, I am back to just enjoying the game.  2 player nom nom contest FTW!! LOL :smileyvery-happy:

Yeah, it's been a bit weird, because it was giving it to me most of the day, but when I went home and play there it stopped! Very odd. Still, if you're playing, it can't be bad.

BTW dudes, I've started making a real life Noby Noby Boy... I wonder if anybody here would want it...

I've not been playing much cause the laptop has to be connected to the TV permantently (god ***** laptop screens). Plus with the recent heat here in Scotland and me being in a little room...well you can imagine the heat (perfect in winter, not so perfect in summer). But I have had the door open to the room for the last few days when I've had the game on all day...although I have nothing to show for it :smileysad:

And good luck with the real life Boy :smileyvery-happy:....wonder if I've got any spare material lying around........

I made a small catnip filled noby noby boy for my kitties using amigurumi crochet... I'm working on a bigger one too, it'll just be a stuffed guy that hangs around and collects dust probably... I can post the pattern if anyone is interested. I've got a good LBP sackboy pattern too :smileyhappy:

Jupiter... still so far away...

Meet Lucky and her Amigurumi NobyNoby Boy.  He suffers a lot of abuse but she loves him very much.

To make him you'll need pink yarn (or other color if you are making 2,3 or 4p), various colors of yarn for his body, purple or navy yarn and red yarn, a 3.0, 3.25 or 3.5 mm crochet hook, and one of those fat needles for yarn. Use a piece of contrasting yarn or a stitch marker to keep track of your rows if you need to, or just wing it because it is after all, a cat toy...

Pattern:

1. Chain 2 (white or cream yarn, this is his face)

2. In second chain from loop, single crochet 6 (6)

3. 2 single crochet in each stitch (increase) (12)

pre-4 th row. 1 single crochet in each of first 6 stitches then stop and switch color to pink (this is the beginning of his head) (6) (if you are using a stitch marker, move it to this color switching spot, this will be the beginning of future rows)

4. increase to two single crochet in one stitch, then one single crochet in stitch, alternating until you have completed 18 stitches in total (18)

5-7. 1 single crochet in each stitch around (repeat for rows 6 and 7) (18)

8. 2 single crochet then decrease over two stitches (12)

9. single crochet in each stitch (12) (stuff head with mixture of polyfill and catnip)

10. switch to the color for your first stripe, 1single crochet in each stitch around (12)

11-15. 1 sc in each stitch (repeat for rows 12-15) (12)

16. Repeat row 10 using your next stripe color (12)

17-21. Repeat rows 11-15 using your new stripe color (12) (stuff body with mixture of polyfill and catnip)

Repeat for as many stripes as you want. I did 6.

After your last stripe, switch to pink to start butt:

 46. 1 single crochet in each stitch around (12)

47. 2 single crochet in one stitch (increase) , then one signle crochet in one stitch, repeat until 18 stitches (18)

48. 1 single crochet in each stitch around (18)

49-50. repeat row 48 (18)

51. 1 single crochet over 2 stitches (decrease) every other stitch (12) (stuff butt with mixture of polyfill and catnip)

52.  1 single crochet over 2 stitches (decrease) every other stitch (6)

53. tie off and weave in end

Face: I sewed on a face with yarn and tied knots because my cat is a nut and would chew/eat/crack buttons, but you could use very teeny felt cutouts or fabric paint to make facial details, especially if you want them to look less crappy than mine.

Arms & Legs: Use  purple or navy yarn on a large needle, pull through one side to the other of head and tie each side in several knots to form a little pair of rope arms that are anchored through the head and butt so kitty can't pull them off. Tie a big knot at end to make the foot or hand.

I use cotton Bernat handicrafter cotton yarn (cheap!) and a 3.0 hook so it is really tight, but a bit looser will be no problem so long as the polyfill isn't coming out. I do recommend cotton for it's ease of working with and washability, though I don't think it would be a good idea to wash a catnip filled toy. I use a mix of about 50% catnip and 50% polyfill for the stuffing. If the cat loses interest in boy, roll him around tightly in your hands to make the catnip release oil and get smelly again. If you don't want to use polyfill you can use scrap yarn or fabric to stuff boy.
