It's not commissioned - it's on iTunes. It's quite a lively track, odd that it has those lyrics in it

I also don't understand what is so offensive about it. At the end of the day it must be only extremist/hardcore religeous people who could get offended by lyrics in songs of this nature.

Surely extremists from any religion will always find something to complain about in video games, whether it's violent content, sexual content, swearing etc, etc, etc. There is no point in pandering to them because once you start changing games for little things like this we will all be left just playing pacman, even then there will probably be some obscure Religion that will complain about that! As long as a game is not trying to be deliberately offensive to a Religion, like have you running around headbutting baby Jesus or something, then I don't see what the problem is

Like any game, surely the answer is simple, if you don't like it, don't play it, but stop trying to be spoil sports and going off on missions to prevent other people from playing games just because they don't fit into your view of life or religious preferences. This is not aimed at the op, just a general observation that whether it's Religous groups, Politicians, Lawyers, Parental groups etc, there is always someone whinging on about games!

Well i agree with most here saying that it should be altered in the patch so that it will not offend anyone. But as far as delaying the game, I dont think that will happen, its just not possible.

Why has it taken until now for some one to stumble along such an issue?

I'm sure MM didn't intend on offending anyone when they created it. And they will probably patch it like I said a few moments ago. Just don't blow this up into something this isn't. It was a mistake and im sure they will fix it once they know about it.

I'm not saying that the discussion is not interesting.

I'm just saying that when I come to a forum about games, I'm not coming to read debates about religions.

So, if you don't lock it fine, move it out to general discussion at least.....

Moreover, this solid_08 has only popped up once to write this post.

But who is he ? Does he present himslef has a leader of some muslim community? Is he an imam ? OR just a simple player that wants a little buzz ? Knowing him would help us to understand what is the motivation of such a post.

 Was he willing to warn the community about that issue ? Fine he did. No need to keep the buzz on.

I think that this place is inappropriate. If he wants fast and efficient reaction from Sony, I hope that he did send Emails to them already beside posting here.

So please, forums are here such as everyone can expose his point of view on a specific subject, but am I talking about my kidney problems here ? surely nop, that ain't the right place

They're focusing on the wrong target...

I sincerly hope that this "urgent matter" is not the cause of the actual rumor for the game to be delayed.....

BTW, the first level of the third world (  "Swinging Safari"  )  was it available in the beta ? I doubt     .....

I'm not religious but i tend to respect their felleings. What i find strange si that that song is sold via Itunes and in stores. So if it's ok to be sold in stores, why LBP should be stripped of it ? What's the difference ?

If this would be pulled off from the market completely, than i could understand that Sony should remove it from LBP too.
