Welcome to the Action & Adventure Caption Competition!
This is mainly just for fun but for each new image comes a new prize!
Every few days or so we'll post a new image so be sure to check back in on this thread!
To kick us off we had an image from Naughty Dogs upcoming 'The Last of Us.'
The game stars Ellie and Joel, Joel is a "ruthless" survivor and Ellie is a 14 year-old girl who is wise beyond her years, but has no memory of the world pre-apocalypse.

Specific Rules for The Caption Competition
- This promotion is open to residents of the UK and Ireland, aged 12 years or over.
- To enter this promotion, entrants must:
(i) Go to their local language forum at http://community.eu.playstation.com/playstationeu (“the Forum”);
(ii) Click on the PlayStation Store Games board;
(iii) Click on the Action & Adventure Caption Competition thread;
(iv) Sign in to their PlayStation®Network (PSN Account), or if they don’t already have one, create and sign in to a PSN Account;
(v) Submit their caption to the comments thread.
- Registration for PSN is subject to acceptance of the PSN Terms of Service and User Agreement and PSN Privacy Policy.
- This competition is ongoing with no fixed date.
- All entries must be original and the entrant’s own work (please click on the General Rules for further details). Entrants may enter the promotion as many tiems as they like and will only be eligible to win a prize.
- Entrants must adhere to the General Rules and in particular, to sections 7 and 8. In addition, entries must not contain any (i) pornography, nudity, or sexually explicit imagery, (ii) abusive, offensive or hateful imagery or language, (iii) harassing or defamatory content, (iv) content that compromises the privacy or safety of yourself or others, (v) content that demeans a particular gender, sexual orientation, disability, religion, ethnicity or nationality, (vi) violent or dangerous behaviour, and/or (vii) spam, advertising or other commercial activities.
- The judge will select 1 winner who they consider has submitted the most original caption.
- The prize for the winner will vary from image to image and week to week and could be a PlayStation 3 or PlayStation 2 game, a poster or other promotional or collectible item and its value will on average be no more than £24.99/€31.00.
- The winnerwill be notified by e-mail within 2 weeks of the closing date and will be given 4 weeks to claim their prize.
- The Promoter will use reasonable endeavors to dispatch the prize within 30 days of receipt of the entrant’s claim but the Promoter does not accept any responsibility for prizes that are dispatched later than this period.
- Prizes shall be sent by email or post to the address associated with the winner’s PSN Account.
- If the prize is found to be defective or damaged on delivery, the Promoter must be notified in writing within 7 days of the delivery date, otherwise the prize will be deemed to be accepted as delivered. This does not affect your statutory rights (if any).
- The Promoter shall publish the winner’s PSN online ID and country of residence on the Website. Entries may remain on the competition thread within the Forum at the Promoter’s discretion.

Fun was the name of the game when it was the turn of Lolliop Chainsaw!
And then it was the turn of Assassin's Creed!
And then came the turn of inFamous!
Last time it was a cover and not a screenshot from Cabela's Big Game Hunter 2012 
We also had double the fun with Batman & Resident Evil!
And then Husaria was kind enough to supply an image whilst I was on holiday.
And now we had the turn of... Enslaved.
We also went all retro with Bully!
The next image was from Tokyo Jungle!
Next we featured Ratchet & Clank!
And then we headed back to an old favourite in L.A. Noire!
Then we went Retro with GTA: San Andreas!
We also had a double bill of... Star Wars: The Force Unleashed...
....and retro classic Skool Daze!!
We went with Harry Potter & the Order of the Phoenix!
We have also used the excellent Afrika!
We have also featured Back To The Future: The Game!
We had a real life change via Crash Bandicoot!
Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes was next.
We then went back to where it all began - The Last of Us!
InFamous 2 made a welcome appearance!

Spacysam provided us with a Resident Evil 5 image!

Then we headed back to Assassin's Creed 3!

Then we went all Lego with Lord of the Rings!

One weekend we had... Max Payne.

We paid a visit to Metal Gear Solid!

We always like a visit to Gotham with Batman.
