Hello all,

Before I start I have to say that this is one of the best games of all time.  Since it's come out I can't stop playing it and i'm totally addicted to playing the Challenge mode fight games.

My favourite is the Jokers funhouse, which after about 6000 goes at it mangaed a personal best score last night of 800000 odd.

Anyway, I'm playing Blind Justice (not the extreme one) and I looked at the leaderboard online and some bloke has managed a score of over 100000 points.  I have no idea how you can possibly get a score like that.  The best I can manage with a perfect hit count and a few gadget moves thrown in barely reaches the 40000 mark. There's not many men to defeat so the flawless freeflow moves don't give you many points to possibly reach 100000.

Does anyone know how he's done it?  I'd love to know the tactics behind it because I'm baffled!!

could he of stunned them then went for a higher combo,thats the tactic i use to get higher scores, i love the game but its still not quite perfect, im hoping for another patch.

I don't know if you get a higher bonus after stunning as it only takes a certain amount of punches per man. I just had a go using as many of my gadgets as I could and you do get a few more points, but i'm still waaaay off 100000 points.
What would you like a patch to fix? I can't remember any problems with mine. I agree the game isn't perfect in that the boss fights are still a bit under par, but the atmosphere, story and acting is great. I can't wait for the next installment. The story is rather short, it's only 45% of the game.

ground pound, i think thats what they call it works sometimes but mainly not for me it doesn't seem to work or be as fluent as the original game,the compare stats with friends doesn't work also some of the sound issues it has, minor gripes i know. the game is very short and im hoping other areas open up with dlc as i cant see the reason for that map to be so big with such a closed off section, im pleased they fixed the corrupted save problem.Overall the game is excellent though and getting a platinum is going to be very challenging.

  I had trouble getting high scores until I started using the x and square combo.  This helps rack up huge combos without knocking people out.  Certainly comes in handy on the harder levels and I managed to get all 3 trophies on all the maps using it.

Is anyone else having problems with Batman Arkham City games disc fraturing whilst playing the game on the new PS3 console?

Two years ago (2010) we had manufactuers using poor quality discs and they started to fracture from the centre collar radiating outwards, but Sony seem to have dealt with that odd batch of discs until this year we are again noticing PS3 games discs fractuing from the centre to the outside, even some discs breaking up inside the PS3 console drive damaging it beyond repair.

Has any one else noticed this happening to their PS3 games discs and have we again got a bad batch of poor quality made discs?

Whilst writing, can I also ask if any one knows how to purchase a replacement disc without havign to pay the full price? Surely there is a system where someone has a defective disc that they can get a one for one exchange at cost rather than be forced to pay another £40 to continue to use the game?

I have already dropped Playstation staff an email and we have Trading Standards investigating sub-standard quality discs, but just wanted to ask in the forum if any one else was having problems with poor quality made discs?
