When you complete a side quest that is linked to a character in the Batman universe you get a Biography of that character so you can read all about their backstory, there's some characters in Arkham City i havent even heard of before like Deadshot, Zsasz and Calender Man (i didnt get very far into Arkham Asylum so they could have been in there) but its really interesting to find out how certain villians became what they are.

Who is your favourite character? 

Mine is Two-Face, its interesting to read about his past when he used to be Harvey Dent (although the biography in Arkham City says the reason his face is like it is was different to the way it was shown in the Dark Night movie) i love the fact he has a coin with heads on both sides.
