does anyone know if rockstar games are making a LA noire 2 or a similar game to that ??

From Eurogamer:

"Don't count out the possibility of a new game in the L.A. Noire franchise in the future. We simply have not decided anything," a Rockstar spokesperson wrote, answering a reader Q&A on the company's official site.

Hope they will release another LA Noire at some point myself. Loved the game.

It won't be for a while yet as Rockstar are working on existing titles at the moment including GTA & Max Payne 3. They've also got some other titles lined up after these games are released: some new i.p's and some old proposed games. L.A. Noire will be amongst these titles: The next red dead sequel, Midnight Club and bully. Each one of these games are considered but aren't confirmed to be in development yet. Again these are just speculation samples from the said spokesperson who supposedly works at Rockstar.

I loved it, would love a first one. Considering the problems they had with that game during its production and just how good it turned out to be... well... just imagine what a second one could be like without all those problems, the mind boggles!

i hope so too, loved the first one, only thing i'd like to see is more attention to detail on cases, it got too easy.

I liked the first 1/2 - 3/4, then I started getting bored, then the whole thing changed in a way I personally didn't like (though some people might have liked them shaking it up a bit)

I heard that Team Bondai shut down because L.A Noire didnt make enough money.

i agree with michelle that the first half and a bit was good and different but it did get very repetitive and it was getting very boring.

But hey maybe if there is a sequel it'll be less repetitive.

I really enjoyed LA Noire but it didn't excite me in the way that Heavy Rain did. I would have loved some stories to be more immersive/involved and I'd have loved a story on that pervert at the train yard or the paedo at the school though I understand why they probably couldn't do that.

I'd definitely buy LA Noire 2...but I'm looking forward to Quantic Dreams next project far more avidly.
