9/10 from Jim Sterling = me want. Looks absolutely mental. And brilliant.

Re: lollipop chainsaw

Awesome scores! :smileyhappy: I was expecting heavy criticism because of its sexual nature (seriously some people need to get a grip and grow up) and it get marked down for it.

Had my eyes on this for a while now but I cant afford it this week :smileysad:

Re: lollipop chainsaw

Reviews schmemews..(yeah I know..)

I have to say though I've been pleasantly surprised by some of these reviews. I do tend to trust my own judgement  though and pre-ordered this when a lot of people were less positive about it.

I think amazon are doing a pre-order bonus dlc costume wise, I went with blockbuster though , does anyone know if they're offering anything? All they could tell me there was I'd get any that did arrive though at the time they didn't have any info on any.

 Is it Friday yet? ...:smileylol:

There are obviously tonnes more, just search for them on google news. ANyhow I shall hopefully be picking my copy up tomorrow though I've no idea when I'll get to start playing it - I picked up max Payne on day of release and still haven't touched the actual story, just the MP. I have about five other games I am half way through... hopefully one of my coming days off can be used as a nice gaming day... my eyes may fall out though, battered and wretched as they already are :smileysad:

I'm not 100% sure that's what they had in mind when they coined the phrase "hawk-eyed" :smileyvery-happy:

Re: lollipop chainsaw

I was up until 4am last night playing this game, had a great time. Despite a few niggles its great fun and I think some of the people who thought it might be sexist or anything else would be quite surprised if they gave it a whirl. I'm not that far in but after a few hours game play my whole arm hurt and my hand was in absolute pain... due to game play I should point out!

Juliet also comes off really well, whilst the game is over the top and comedic she comes off as quite a strong female character and despite the over the topness and all the swearing etc the scripting comes off quite well also, you can actually tell that someone from the film world had input in to this, it doesn't come off as cheesy which is where a lot of serious games fall down.

Overall: Great fun. Look forward to playing it some more :smileyhappy:

Haha, I have about the same amount of games to get through myself, but was playing this a fair bit earlier and am up to level 3.

It's pretty funny and once you start getting more moves, combat gets much better and things drop a heck of a lot faster!
