I just finished Mass Effect 2. Quite the ending!, well for me anyway, my shepard looked exactly the same as he does on the cover of the box, i tend to stick to the norm in situations where you are able to change the characters appearence, anyway I'd say your shepards journey may have been quite different.

So please, share. It'll be fun to see the number of different outcomes people wound up with.

I Knocked Boots With...

Miranda, cause it just seamnt right, Tali is a little creepy and Jack was just...ungh, nothankyou.

I'll Mourn The Passing Of...

Grunt, who was wisked away by those alien bug thingys in the ending scene just before fighting the reaper meta human.

Jack, who just...ended up dead on the ground as we were fleeing the Collector base. I never picked her for any responsibility during the last mission, but hey, it's a war, people die.

Samara, i used her in the last mission to create the barrier against those collector bugs and in the end, her fate was sealed the same as jack, i unfortunetly failed her loyalty mission so i guess that would have stuffed it a bit.

I Chose in the Comic?
Ash, because for some reason i reckon she'll be a great asset if she becomes more involved in the sequel.

Ship Upgrades?
I pimped the ***** outta the normandy sheilds, guns and all.

Paragon or Renegade?
Paragon but so god help me everytime there was a situation that called to be bad i let loose , but shepard remained a good little boy.

Characters you didnt care for?
Samara,jack, and Zaeed.
Zaeed was an *****...boring character and the other 2 were bat ***** boring as well, the rest of the team i loved, although joker got annoying...must have been cause seth green voiced him...

Can We Keep It?

No. I blew the Collector base sky high. I'm not the type to fight my way through giant Terminators and hordes of bugs only to pass up a giant space explosion.

Did I Make It?

Sure did. My Commander Shepard returned fit, healthy and ready for another round with the Reapers and to return for Mass Effect 3.

And The Illusive Man?

He's a bad person. My Commander Shepard is not. So Martin Sheen was told, in more polite terms, to go ***** himself.

What Happens Next?

My Shepard was close to being a maxed-out Paragon, so if i didnt have a life and a daughter, and it didnt take me so long to finish it, i would have tried going for the renegade side but alas when i carry over my shepard to the sequel he shall be a good boy  . In the end, though, my desire to collect little model starships, fish and even a space hamster made it hard to make the most of Miranda's spare time we did bump uglies .

So, that's me done! How about you? Make it out alive? Get everyone killed? will you play through it again? or like me trade it in towards something else ?

I only lost Jack... everybody else survived. The only loyalty I didn't win was Zaeed, and I lost Jack's when I sided with Miranda in their little tiff, but she still had her power and change of chothes (thankfully). I also blew up the base and told the Illusive Man where to hide his head.

Still waiting on my copy to arrive from the uk (annoying been 2 weeks..been playing Dead Space 2)

But having played this on launch last yr.

Jack is one of the collest characters in the whole game .

already passed the game many times on the 360, so I new how to get the perfect ending, though Legion and Tali'Zorah are the only two characters who I must keep alive

Well, I finished it months ago on PC with all my squad members making it out alive (I crafted an elite team, as if they're all gonna die), the Collector's Base got blown to kingdom come (you play on my team now, Illusive Man, get used to it!) and my Commander Shepard was last seen getting romantic with Miranda Lawson.

Bring on Mass Effect 3!

I just finished this game and lost Jack, The Justicar chick and Grunt.

Started a romance with Miranda but she cold shouldered me.

Blew the station and upgraded all of the Normunday's gear.

Geth is awsome hope he gets carried, loved his dialogue.

My "canon" playthrough everyone survived and kept the station intact and got it on with Tali (yay!). Another playthrough Morinth and Jack only survived (I was going for this, going to be great taking that file into no 3 LOL).


To be honest I thought the paragon/renegade choice was a bit of a let down, didn't quite line up properly. Maybe I'll feel better about it come Mass Effect 3 but blowing up the base actually seemed like the irresponsible thing for me to do, regardless of handing it over to the illusive man or not. Seemed to lack nuance or the balance like the counsel choice in 1.

my crew are all still alive...i also did all but one of the dlc's including the important last one, invasion or whatever it was called (i agreed to front up to earth court)but i probably won't mwahaha, i blew the base & bumped uglies with tali
