Ratchet & Clank games doubts!

Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One is just a spinoff, right? It's not an official sequel?

Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault aka Ratchet & Clank: Q-Force was announced some days ago. So is this one another canon sequel to the normal games? I mean, a sequel to Ratchet & Clank: A Crack In Time?

Its just a spin-off 4 player coop game.

A Crack in Time was the last game as part of the 'Future' trilliogy series with featured Tools of Destruction and Quest for Booty as well. So Q-Force will just be a new direction for the series but nothing has been confirmed as yet.

Hello!

Don't forget that A Crack In Time is the 7th Ratchet & Clank canon game. So we can't separate the PS2 ones form the PS3 games.

I hope Q-Force is the 8th game.

Re: Ratchet & Clank games doubts!

Does it really matter anyway as long as its a R&C game by Insomniac Games then surely that's all that counts?

Its like me worrying about Michael Bay making a Star Wars film. As long as its from LucasFilm then it will fit in the universe and be canon, same goes for R&C no?

Sorry but that makes no sense.

Of course it matters if it's a sequel or just a spin-off.

Are you saying it's not important to know if it's a game that follows the canon story? Of course it is.

Re: Ratchet & Clank games doubts!

Depends if you're buying the games just for the story, or buying the games to collect stuff, shoot stuff and explore. I'm personally of the latter camp.

It's like the Super Mario games and Super Mario Party.

Obviously i'm ginna bother only with the SM games and not the Party games.

No, it's because the others are spin-offs, obviously.

Re: Ratchet & Clank games doubts!

Here's an idea - bother with games that are fun, ignore ones that aren't.

Works well for me :smileywink:
