Raccoon city is a coming, no doubt most of you have seen the trailers expecically the capcom captivate one released yesterday

Don't want to think might be alright, not sure about the faceless bad guys looking like they are from army of 2,

And why are after Leon, must be clairvoyant or something i guess, doesnt make much sense, where the hell is claire etc

All in all this will probably be closest thing we'll get to outbreak 3

I am looking forward to this it'll be nice to see what kinder dealing's where going whilst the good guys ar ein the lab.

It's nice to be playing as the bad guy's & i really like the umbrella outfit's, leon appearing will be interesting cause we can't kill him other wise TIME PARADOX.

slant six...they pretty much have the worst reputation from socom.....so would have to trial before i ever buy. It def looks interesting!!!! Love love love the resident evil movies...wish they would make a game based on afterlife...having all those super pwers and stuff would be awsome...sure beats not being able to run/walk n shoot!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yuck! The movies are horriblealthough the first 2 are a bit better. The last one just plain sucked, it was painful to watch. A game based off the movies would be the end of the series for me. I think they need to head back to the roots and ditch alot of the action for a more survivor horror feel.

I only really liked the first RE movie, the second was alright but the rest where just.........not good...

I think its looking pretty good, its not going to be scary at all but it should be good for a play, I'm thinking it wont get good reviews. Perhaps between 60 - 70 on metacritic.

My fav is RE4. Played that until I got the invinite rocket launcher and chicargo typewriter then played it on professional. I got every single miniture toy thing and I would have completed professional about 3 times lol. I love that game. Cant wait for the HD remake.

hmmmmmmmmm.......

Im in two minds about this.

Things i like about it so far;

- Resi 2 and 3 era/settings/characters etc

- the 4 player co-op option

- 3rd person for a difference (also tying in with RE4 and 5)

- good action sequences and teamwork - though this is also a negative for me...

Things i dont like so far;

- the action sequences. Nothing like the orig RE2 and 3 survival horror. I understand they tried to move away from the 'same old' with 4 and 5 but IMO they moved too far away and it just felt weird. Not scary. And way too unrealistic

- a parallel RE universe?

- apart from the settings and a few characters (eg Leon) - will it have any relevance to RE2 and 3 at all?

I say, as said above, go back to the roots!

Update it, but dont fully change it so that its pretty much unrecognisable from the original games that made the franchise so big.

Make it real. Give us a good intriging and twisted story. Recognisable settings and characters. Genuinely scarey moments. Bring back the real racoon city.

I hope this plays like the old resident evil games or at least like RE 4 or 5. I have a feeling that its going to copy left for dead and be a first person shooter by the looks of the first trailer and especially with slant six developing it e.g socom : / a true RE game should start of with a knife and a hand gun with six bullets and your team mates fighting over a first aid spray or a shotgun!
