I have got the book and gone back to the college but when I speak to Urag, he replies with "Do you think Ancano knew all along what the eye was capable of?" and no dialogue options comes up to speak about the book, he just keep repeating that same sentence.

Any help appreiciated thanks.

I just found this on another website. I hope it helps.

"There is a known glitch in which the player will not be able to return the book until after they have obtained the Staff of Magnus and defeated Ancano."
