Points to the Famitsu review of Bayonetta where it 

scored a perfect 40/40.

Now yes the game is out in Japan and you can get it here

(playasia).

Now so seriously pumped for this one after that review.

looks like we have the new DMC ...and just to prempt.

The artistic director was responsible for Devil May Cry.

So anyone who say "errrr its just a rip off"..is a fool

Anyways the game releases here Europe and the US and Canada

early next yr 5th of Jan infact in Canada (at least according to VGP)

Im actually more excited about this game and Dantes Inferno 

than I am about God of War 3..that might change closer to release.

I did mention this to Kiwi as I know him and the other DMC fans should be looking at this...STJ, Silver and J (if he posted..but I still chat on PSN)  ...

I D/L the demo from the jap store and it is very pretty and quite fun.... some really outrageous moves...lol... 

not a purchase for me though....

I will definitely be getting this, its just a matter of when. R&C ACiT is due in the mail next week, and the GOW collection 2 weeks after that.

Would the Jap version be in English tjohn ??

at a Canadian retailer if you are in oz currency

The dollar is as of tonight 0.9889 

Against the USD I think its 0.9...but do you want to buy from

USA and pay about $20 shipping methinks not .

The NZD buys 0.7804..

Demo due next week

This is one of those games that I haven't even noticed on the horizon at all... but it is getting good reviews... I might check the demo out... but I can see me holding off on any more purchases until FFXIII and GOW3 get here...

Edit: Sorry... missed this thread ALSO with climax edition info...

I got my version of the Japanese demo from the Hong Kong PSN store. All the on screen writing is Japanese, but the voices are in English. Also, I think the settings on the demo were way to easy. Hopefully they've fixed that in the full version of the game.

Just ordered the japanese version, Im hoping the controller layout is similar to the DMC series but i hope it has its own personality, for the time being i will only refer to the game as "Sarah Palin the videogame" when people ask me what it is

Id love to hear some thoughts on the game.

But Im pretty much expecting the action to be

better than what was offered in Devil May Cry 

(remember who the art director is)

well i bit the bullet yesterday and pre-ordered the Climax Edition from JB HIfi for $114 , I'd read a few reviews from japan on the game and they were all pretty darn positive and reader comments about it were also good. I never really played the DMC series so this will be something new to me and I won't be drawing comparisons against DMC like some people inevitably will.
