you probably missed it, but i`m pretty sure the game teaches you on the QTE at the very beginning of the game,when your in the village fighting the werewolves i think it was

Just finished the story tonight and I thought it was great - the graphics are stunning throughout, the gameplay is simple yet rewarding and Patrick Stewart is so overly dramatic it's downright funny!

Hi all...

Just finished playing this game.......what a top notch game i must say,the ending has left me wanting more.sequel is in the making thankfully. to think i almost cancelled  ordering this game ,i have to admit i enjoyed this alot more than god of war 3 (still a quality game)  . For me castlevania was a bit slow to start with but once it got going it got better and better ,story was excellent but as said patrick was a tad cheesey but fun at times .i wont give anything away but the last cutscene at the end was epic and very surprising cant wait for more . off to have another play through !!!

One thing I'm not liking about this game...riding spiders. Seriously, it's one thing fighting them but getting on top of one? No thanks.

Other than that...awesome so far. Had to start again but it's ok as it's pretty fun. Stunning graphics too for a multi-platform game.

I recently finihed this game & it was just awesome.  One of the best ending cinematics EVER!!!

One word of advice...You can turn right in the small cave with the skeleton...LOL!!!

just a quick question.  I see you are supposed to be able to go back to levels you haven't completed. 

Do you have to complete the whole section including killing the boss?

I bought Castlevania shortly before Christmas. I didn't really know much about it when I got it, but from what I have played so far I am pretty impressed.

The gameplay feels a bit similar to God of War, the way the Cross works is similar to how Athena's Blades work in GoW. I like the fact you can go back and replay any level/section you chose, whether it be to find all the collectibles, weapon upgrades or to simply complete an unlocked challenge. It makes the game seem much much longer (even though I've heard it's a long game as it is!).

Anyway, I haven't played on it again recently as I've bought quite a few games since Christmas, but I am definitely looking forward to playing it again and seeing how the story develops.

I got this game when it was first released but got side tracked with other games. Ive started playing it again and i have to say its probably one of the best games of 2010. Graphics are perfect, gameplay is better than god of war's (thats saying alot) and the monsters you fight look great.

i just bought this game also, but im stuck in the world of dead space at the mo, but i will start this next. from what i seen it looks kool and better than gow3. its really underated.
