Hi all,

My cousin has asked me which PS3 Spiderman game he should get, except i have only played Spiderman 3 on the PS2, so cant comment on the others...

Anyone played any of them to give an opinion on which is possibly better?

He wants some free-roaming, which i know was in SM3.

But, i believe since then there has been "Shattered Dimensions" and "Edge of Time" released, not to mention "Amazing" which has just been released to coinside with the film, since SM3 was released, so i dont know which one to recommend to him.

Any help would be appreciated

I prefer the newest one, The Amazing Spider-Man. Plus it has free roam.

I have heard nothing but good things about the The Amazing Spiderman game so I would go with that one.

get Amazing spiderman, i platinumed it yesterday, its a freaking awesome spidey game, best one since Spiderman 2.

Definitely The Amazing Spider-Man, the best Spidey game on the PS3.

Shattered Dimensions and Edge of Time are good games but with no free roam the replay value is pretty poor.

Spider-Man 3 was never a bad game on 360/PS3 I thought, and infact I loved it. There was nothing spectacular about it but it did everything well, even has some aspects I prefer over the AMSM and can be picked up cheap now so it's definitely worth a look at. 

Web of Shadows is actually a decent game if you can get around the awful graphics and what not, but even with it's free roaming I wouldn't choose that over TASM and SM3.
