Yakuza dead souls, left stick aiming

I simply cannot fathom what on earth Sega were thinking when they decided to use the left analogue stick for crosshair aiming it just feels so unnatural. When strafing and shooting you use the traditional left stick move character, right stick move camera, then suddenly when entering aim mode you now have to use the left stick to aim and the right stick is redundant?? What is the purpose of that. At the moment it is so freakishly unnatural that it feels game breaking. Anyone else managed to get used to it or does it always feel this bad?

Please use plain text.

Re: Yakuza dead souls, left stick aiming

I love the Yakuza series but was really confused with the aiming in Dead Souls.

Eventually I got to the point where if I wanted to zoom in I'd just stand still and aim, then again that was the only option!
