arkham city save data single player

ok so i have bought the game again and it has my old save data. eg i finished the story 100% but theres alot more to get.

 

however is letting me start NEW GAME PLUS.

 

can i start a new game plus but still go back to my other one? so have the both in otherwords? or if i start my new game plus will it erase my old progress?

just tested it think its fine can have both. Also the robin and nightwing dlc? is there a story to it like catwomans? if so when and how do you play it?
