If you love your TV, make sure you check out the range of catch-up TV services available on PlayStation®3 including ABC iview, Yahoo!7 PLUS7 and SBS ON DEMAND, allowing you to stream your favourite TV shows* straight to your console.
A variety of catch-up TV services in Australia, all optimised for viewing via PS3™, mean that you will never miss your favourite series or show again. All PS3 owners registered on the Free to Join, Free to Play** PlayStation®Network are able to watch full length episodes of their favourite TV shows at the click of a button. Just make sure you have the latest system software update installed on your PS3.
ABC iview was the first catch-up TV service to be optimised for viewing on a big screen TV through PlayStation®3, launching in November 2009. ABC iview offers free ABC TV catch-up and iview exclusives with most programs available for 14 days after television broadcast. There's over 800 full episodes and around 220 series available for you to enjoy on demand, on your big screen TV, in the comfort of your living room, including Doctor Who, Good Game, Breaking Bad, Q&A and more.
Following on from the popular ABC iView, Yahoo!7 PLUS7 was, and still is, the first commercial catch-up TV service to be optimised for viewing with PS3. Launched in September 2010, PLUS7 lets you watch full length episodes of your favourite TV shows as seen on Seven, 7TWO and from other content partners, on Yahoo!7 PLUS7. New episodes are added daily and are available from 7 to 28 days (depending on content rights) and include Australia's Got Talent, 30 Rock, Parenthood, Saturday Night Live and more.
The most recent addition to the range of catch-up TV services on PS3 is SBS ON DEMAND. Launched in March 2012, the service lets you watch full episodes, clips and live streams of some of your favourite SBS TV programs including Mad Men, Mythbusters, RocKwiz and many more plus SBS food programs, sport, documentaries, films and subtitled international programming. Pick and choose videos and programs or series and add them to your playlist, easily browse and search the full catalogue of videos and discover recommended videos that are most relevant to you.
To access these great catch-up TV services on your PS3, simply get your console connected online, navigate to the [TV/Video Services] icon on the XrossMediaBar (XMB™) under which you will see the [My Channels] icon. Scroll down to the [My Channels] icon and press X. Select the relevant catch-up TV service and press X to begin the service. You may be prompted to download some software. Press X to confirm the download and the service will begin.
* Not all catch-up content is available on PS3.
** Free to register and play online. Broadband internet service required. Users are responsible for broadband access fees. Charges apply for some content.

I've had a similar experience with PLUS7. It just never seems to have the shows I'm interested in.
