Hi all,

We are pleased to announce the release of PlayStation®Mobile SDK 0.99.

The following new key features have been added.

• In-App Purchase library
• Digital Signature & Encryption library for content protection
• GamePad support for UI Toolkit library
• ModelViewer for previewing .mdx files on PC
• 50+ bug fixes

The vita's developer assistant is still the 0.98 version so it's not possible to use it.

On your PS vita, when you touch the dev assistant  icon you can see an orange update option on the top left of the start screen.

Use that to update your dev assistant. It will then work afterwards.

We will shortly be posting an introductory guide to version 0.99.

You need to recompile as well. I'm looking to any test results. My project is not really requiring performance.

The 2nd time I try to Launch my game from PSM Studio on Vita, I'm getting:

"Host / Target versions mismatched. Target is OLDER.

Please update the PlayStation Mobile Development Assistant to 0.99."

It works the first time, but after that I get the above message and I have to restart PSM Studio.

Obviously I have updated the Development Assistant to 0.99 otherwise it wouldn't run at all.

Hi Morgana,

Just to double check, did you update your existing version on your PS Vita or download a new one.

In some cases, if you download the dev assistant again and then upgrade it from the start screen, it should be able to deploy fine. I have it running with no problems.

We will shortly be putting up a guide up to help with some of the minor problems migrating from version 0.98. If you find that you are still having any issues please post them in the Guide post and we will try to address them while updating the guide simultaneously.
