Apologies for the problems that you've most likely encountered with the forums in the last 24 hours. This is simply due very high traffic levels following the announcement about the PlayStation 3.

Today, we're still experiencing slightly slower loading times than usual following the outages yesterday. The problem is being investigated and we hope to have things fixed and back to normal very soon.

Sorry for any inconvenience, and thanks for your patience while we try to resolve the problem.

I thought the forums were off until March. If only. The forums are a disgrace. There's so many trolling fanboys (of the Xbox variety) you have to wonder if the Mods and Admin even exist. Better off if it was all shut down... It reflects poorly on them and on Sony - this links directly from their official sites...the shame.

If you compare the American boards to these, you'll see a massive difference. My confidence in the administration and moderators here has been shaken greatly.
