Hey folks,
Just a quick note to welcome Recurv into our community!
Recurv is the managing director at FuturLabs, the developers behind Coconut Dodge. He's really keen to get your feedback on both the game itself and why you did/did not buy it - go and help him out here.
I even hear he has cake, but that may or may not be a lie.
Much love,
MB

Hi Recuv ![]()
I'm one of the ones that haven't bought Cocunut Dodge. Ive read all your PlayStation blog posts and I admire all you have gone through to get where you are.
The main reason i didn't buy it is because it looks like a bumped up flash game. Which is an issue I have with most minis.
I've found most minis to be fun for a short time but lacking depth. Vempire, and Brick Breaker are two I purchased and though Vempire was fun for a while it lacked depth. Break breaker was just a simple generic brick breaking game, very boring with better alternatives online for free.
I subscribed to FirstPlay and got a selection of halfbrick minis which I was pleasantly surprised by. They seemed to have a good depth overall and played well. Though i wouldn't of bought them, I only played them because they were free. Though having played them I would recommend AeroRacer, Ecohes, and Age of Zombies if you want a stripped down Burn Zombie Burn to play on the go.
Coconut Dodge seemed like a bumped up 'catch things falling' game, not something Id spend £1.99 on when there are so many similar games to play online.for free. A demo or limited time trial on the game might have convinced me, I certainly would have given it a try, but I don't think this is something you can do with minis.
I hope this feedback is helpful to you and if you want any clarification on points or anything let me know. I look forward to seeing what game you come up with next ![]()

...CAKE!
Tis not a lie. You try telling my fridge that, it has no ears, and does not like you! All it knows is CAKE!
