Re: New Hover-Over Functionality.

I hate to be a nay-sayer... I don't hate the new pop-ups but I'd prefer them not to be there. Any chance of an option to turn them off?

What happened to the new replies counter?

That's what I'm missing :smileysad:

Hmm that's odd, I've still got the new replies counter but I'm now missing the total post counter.

Same for me, the "new posts" is still there, but I have to hover, to get the bubble and see the total number of replies.

Yep its going to be to complicated for most users if they have never read a topic before to do the -1 calculation from the NEW figure to work out the number of replys to the orignial post.

Not sure why? If you have read a topic before do you need to Know how many posts you have read allready.  This is one thing on forum that never made sense to me.

If a topic has 300 new posts thats use full as it tells you its going to take along time to catch up.

But telling you its got 300 posts and 3 are new. that means you read 297 of them. If you have read them , then why care.
