First of all, hello to anyone who remembers me if ye are still on here.

Are you serious? A great library of games? With the exception of Dead Rising out today, i can't say i truely like any of the games out. Granted there are some good looking games that have great playability (is that a word?), but they're just not very long (possibly with the exception of Oblivion).
The PS3 is delayed, big whoop. It was bound to happen. Nothing Sony makes releases over here first. Look on the plus side people: when the PS3 comes out over here, it will be a decent model, won't be one of the early f-up models which are going to break down within a matter of months. It will be a fully working, polished and guaranteed to work model. If someone really wants the PS3 they won't mind the delay. After all, whats another few months? So what the Asian and American markets get it first (Alphabetically, they are right to get it first!
).
I think Sony are doing a smashing job of getting what they are getting done done! The PS3 is full of high-spec, next gen technology, and unfortunately with all next gen material, there is going to be issues, and as i said already above, these issues will be ironed out by the time it's released over here. Cut Sony a break people, it would be worse if they shipped half a million units over here and they all broke within a month or two, that would be financially worse for them, not to mention the ammount of bad publicity they would get compared to the delay announcement.
Sony, take your time, as i'm sure when the PS3 is released it will still redefine gaming and future technology.

!!! but after reading what you said about how we will get the good ones and not the crappy broken ones (that japan and america will get). i have to agree, so ill keep savin for the more expensive ps3 with lots of good games

(wasnt there a problem with the disk tray on the ps2? the dvds got stuck in the drive and it would break the ps2 (AND IT STILL SOLD 100 MILLION CONSOLES WORLDWIDE). the same could happen with the early
ps3 model. wouldnt you rather wait until that problem has gone???)

yep. people will just say whats the point. you are just giving in to sony. they will say why dont you buy a 360 or wii to show sony . but if you really want a ps3 buyin a wii or 360 will only dissapoint you as you never really wanted one of those consoles anyway. even though the wii is cool! ill still get a ps3 no matter how long it wil take

I'm still unsure about this. Socom 3 was delayed 3 months in europe too. What did we get? The same bugged version like the US did. The only difference is, that the US ppl already got like 5 updates nad no first bugfix announced for europe so far.
So I think we'll just get the same console, maybe with a new firmware which you could upgrade yourself.

didnt you know that all hardware is upated even games consoles? the ps2 was released before christmas (it went out of stock) and there was problem with the disk drive. when it wan available again after christmas the ps2 had been up dated so the problem with the drive didn't occur again. remember we are not talkin about game updated we are talkin about the hardware. and i no sony have done bad things but they wouldnt make more ps3's of europe is they knew there was a problem with it.
