Hi all,

Join our Private Beta for PlayStation®Home and be the first to experience all the new features in this latest client update! Check out the new functionality, play the latest games and visit the all-new spaces with a unique companion – found only in this Private Beta (below is a little photoshoot from your new exclusive companion)

If you’ve been to PS Home Private Beta before, you’ll know how much we value your feedback – which is why we are keeping the servers open a lot longer. Once we’ve opened the servers, we will keep them open for you until after the second test night.

Over the course of the beta we will be adding new stuff for you to check out, including content that we have been working on that shows off the latest features – exclusive to the Private Beta! (More information will follow shortly)

This beta trial will consist of two tests nights, more information on test night times will be communicated shortly. Please be sure to read the instructions carefully when you receive the invitation e-mail.

This Beta Client will be a totally new download (no patching needed), however you will need to delete any PlayStation Home Beta clients and data before redeeming and downloading the new one. You will not need to delete your client for the 2nd test night.

Hmm.. I saw this in my email and thought to myself... "Hmmm... Home... Nah... Pass", because I tried it a couple of times and just didn't find enough there to warrant me spending time in it.

Now I'm reconsidering. I just watched a trailer which showed a lot of the new features of Home 1.60 and I've gotta say that there is much more of a draw now.

The one thing that will really turn me off it is long download/load times for transitions between areas. Anyone got any feedback on this yet?

Also, I never saw an event night schedule?

i didnt bother this time, the last 2 times i downloaded home beta i couldnt actually get into home.

mashed it & had all the problems...my little robot /droid was broken.....it would follow until i clipped a staircase then it glitched out.... or if i started an activity/game or moved spaces/zones/area's it disappeared & had to be reactivated...stupid name for a droid too, that needed an option for personalised change.

 .....yo dude & dudette's p.s. you should be checking the beta bugle at the beta forum for events & test nights, we aren't informed here anymore ...you should see it at the bottom of the list when you click official Playstation community  at the top of the page.... no links cause i r nubz &  drlunk mkayz ;p)
