In early 2012, to coincide with the release of PS Vita, we asked the PlayStation Community to design their very own Portable ID theme inspired by the mighty handheld. Here's our pick from the hundreds of entries submitted with comments from the creative team right here at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe:
Ircoops, United Kingdom

"We liked the look of this mischievous character. His personality shines through as he chomps on a PS Vita system."
GiuliFleur. Russia

"This design was favoured for its elegant Japanese style - the colour schemes match brilliantly."
Show_Time111, United Kingdom

"This magical creature is something unique to be added to the Portable ID collection. We like the softer colours used to enhance the theme."
Fruttyman_RU, Russia

"This beautifully designed black cat and the simple, solid colours convey an element of mystery."
PL_subtag, Poland

"A fun, retro design, this little character looks like he's on a universal quest for harmony."
Mkilljoy, United Kingdom

"There's a great deal of detail in this design which makes the character even more adorable."
