Specific Rules for Texas Chainsaw Competition
1. The "Texas Chainsaw Competition” (“Competition”) is open to persons aged 18 years or over who are residents of Ireland or the United Kingdom (“Entrant Countries”) except employees of the Promoter and their immediate families, the Promoter's associated companies, their agents, or anyone else professionally connected with the Competition (“Entrants”).
2. The Competition is open for entries on 14 January 2013 (the "Opening Date") at 09.00 (CET) and closes on 28 January 2013 at 23.59 (CET) (the "Closing Date"). The period from and including the Opening Date to and including the Closing date shall be referred to as the “Competition Period”.
3. This Competition is free to enter and no purchase of any kind is necessary. By entering this Competition Entrants accept and will be bound by these terms and conditions.
4. To enter this Competition, Entrants must complete the following steps during the Competition Period:
a) Entrants must go to the PlayStation English language forum at htttp://community.eu.playstation.com/t5/English-Fo
b) Click on the competition thread “Texas Chainsaw Competition” in the announcements board (the “Thread”);
c) Sign in to their PlayStation® Network Account (“PSN Account”), or if they don’t already have one, create and sign in to their newly created PSN Account;
d) Reply in the Thread posting an answer to the question, “Texas Chainsaw 3D continues the legendary story of which family?”
e) Posts containing the correct answer will entered into the prize draw.
5. There will be one (1) “Winner”, and seven (7) “Runners up”.
6. The Winner and Runners up will be randomly selected from the correct answers posted in the Thread.
7. Entrants may only submit one (1) entry and will only be eligible to win one (1) prize.
8. The Promoter will notify the Winner and the Runners up via a post in the Thread as well as a Private Message to their PSN Account within seven (7) days from the Closing Date.
9. In order to claim their prize, the Winners will have to reply to the Promoter’s notification email within fourteen (14) days.
10. The Winner will win:
(i) “Cabin in the Woods” Blu-ray;
(ii) “Drag me to Hell” Blu-ray;
(iii) “Saw III” Blu-ray; and
(iv) A “Texas Chainsaw” poster, t-shirt and mouse mat (collectively the “First-prize”).
11. The Runners up will win a “Texas Chainsaw” poster, t-shirt and mouse mat.
12. The prizes must be taken as stated and cannot be deferred. There will be no cash alternatives, but the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prizes with prizes of a similar value.
13. The Promoter cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any problem which may result in any entry being lost or not being properly registered.
14. In the event of a dispute the Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
15. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel this Competition or amend these terms and conditions at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion or if circumstances arise outside its control.
16. The Promoter will use reasonable endeavours to send the prizes by recorded delivery to the Winner and Runners up within fourteen (28) days of receiving their details.
17. If the prize is found to be ineffective, faulty or damaged upon receipt, the Promoter must be notified in writing within seven (7) days of receipt, otherwise the prize will be deemed to be accepted as received. This does not affect your statutory rights (if any).
18. The Winners and Runners-up agree to take part in any reasonable publicity required by the Promoter.
19. The Promoter may, at its sole discretion, publish each Winner’s or Runners-up’s name on the Promoter’s website(s). Each Winner’s or Runners-up’s name will be made available on reasonable request to those enclosing a SAE marked ‘Texas Chainsaw Competition’ to the following address: Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Limited, 10 Great Marlborough Street, London W1F 7LP United Kingdom within six (6) weeks of the closing date specified above.
20. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or incorrect, illegible, fraudulent or other invalid or improper information has been provided, the Promoter may in its sole discretion refuse to process an entry or fulfill any prize awarded.
21. Any refusal of entry is not the responsibility of the Promoter and the Promoter shall have no liability to the prize winner in respect of the same.
