Like the title says, I'm playing AC2 and none of the trophies seem to be unlocking.

I started the game about a year or so ago and only played a few hours and got up to about sequence 4 or whatever. Then my PS3 died so I bought a new one which meant I had to start from the beginning again which I could not be bothered to do until recently and since then I havent got a single trophy even though I am much further on and should have. I'm up to sequence 8 now and I havent got any new trophies..

Is there any reason for that? Am I doing something wrong or is this a common problem?

So you are using all new game data and saved data or did you manage to recover it and transfer it onto the new PS3? Did you sync and then re-sync the trophies onto the new system? 

Not personally heard of it but could indeed be messed up in relation to any of the above?

All new. I reinstalled and restarted from scratch but I had like 32% trophies from the last time, I'm much further now but no more trophies are unlocking. 

I did a similar thing with AC3 and that is fine. So I'm not sure what is causing it.  

As a side topic what would you say is the best AC? I prefer 2 so far but I only played 2 and 3. 

Is AC4 much better or just more of the same?

I had a problem with 2 of the AC2 trophies but I think that was down to a temporarily broken patch as if you check my trophies completing sequence 7 has not unlocked but everything after that has, you could try playing it without updating patch information and just going with the game as it used to be to see if that helps but other than that I'm not sure what could cause it.

On your side topic...I would say Revelations because it has everything from the other AC games plus more and old Ezio is still kind of cool but there is nothing like going for the mosh pit trophy (poisoning 10 guards at the same time) but I did accidentally get a few civilians in that one...whoops!

Well I tried starting again with a new save and straight away i tried the throw money trophy and it worked so I guess my save was a bit dodgy. Now I think back I do remember it crashing once and having to hard reset so maybe that caused it.. I guess.

Ah well, I dont mind starting again as its a pretty good game, I just hope it doesnt happen this time

Thanks, I think I will pick up revalations, but I really should complete 2 and 3 first, Its hard enough following the story without missing out sections. I really should have started with the AC1 first

AC1 isn't too important with story as every game after it follows Ezio so you don't really need to know Altair's story that much
