Kotaku also have a small article about a hands-off demo. http://kotaku.com/5916040/assasins-creed-on-vita-m
Isit out on the same day as AC3? if so then that is a bad move on their part, AC3 will completely overshadow Liberation, i dont have a Vita nor do i intend to get one, if Uncharted on the Vita doesnt make me want to buy one then no game will :) i just dont feel the need to play games while im out and when im at home i have my PS3 to play so i really dont see the need for portable games consoles but thats just me
Yes the digitial bundle of AC3 and AC Lib Gold is like £119 or something. I did buy a Vita so will more than likely get this. Have only played Golf and Escape Plan and I have Uncharted: Abyss here lol! :/
After being blown away by Uncharted 2 and 3 on PS3 i cant bring myself to buy a Vita to play Golden Abyss because ill just feel like its not as good as the console games but going by videos on youtube the graphics look similar to Uncharted 1 which says something about the hardware inside the vita if they can make it look like a console game (although an old console game)
I think Killzone and Bioshock are coming to Vita at some point so i may look into getting one if these are confirmed aswell as picking up Uncharted and Assassin's Creed for it
I went abit Assassin's Creed mad last week because i predorded the Join or Die edition of Assassin's Creed 3 and bought a PSP E1000 just so i could play Assassin's Creed Bloodlines which i bought at the same time and i completed my AC collection by picking up AC: Brotherhood
Assassin's Creed 3 cant come soon enough
Golden Abyss visually does look very UC1, and probably plays more like that game than the other two, as it doesn't have the set peice moments, or much in the way of melee, grenade countering etc...
My nitpick with it is a few design flaws, which are probably in part down to the hardware.. Moments where you are hanging but can't drop... some fixed camera moments where the game sorta tricks you into looking like an open world but you are very restricted in your movement and camera... and too many forced hang and shoot moments, where you better hope you have a one shot handgun on the harder difficulty..
Any idea if Liberation will have multiplayer?
If it does i doubt it'll have a big following anyway because of AC3 multiplayer
Hmm dunno actually. Comic Con has had loads of Assassins reveals. I need to do a catch up thread :D
Assassin’s Creed’s New Black Heroine Represents a New Kind of Liberation
"According to the Ubisoft Montreal developer showing Liberation, the game's bi-racial heroine has a father who was a French merchant and a mother who was a freed slave. When I asked whether Aveline's father had owned her mother, the developer demurred at answering the question. He made it seems like he might be giving away a plot point if he told me what I wanted to know."
It's an intelligent article but it has biased written all over it :/
I will still be getting it though...
Did you all see the Assassins Creed 3 Liberations trailer?
Looks cool :D
Both vids are at that link above :)
Kotaku has plenty of info up, link below!

Hmm looks interesting. The outfit changing will be cool :) A good idea. Although not sure I would want anything extra than the shops. I will have to see how it works.
Also getting a sense of achievement for unlocking outfits was cool like when you get 100% synchro:
But you didn't get to use them much really as by this time you had completed the game :/ So this will be a good use of different outfits in game :D
Check out this rather nifty PlayStation Blog post all about Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation's Aveline, its chock full of insightful info!
"Born of a French father and African mother through a commonlaw marital system referred to as plaçage, Aveline enjoyed all the privileges of her father’s position as a wealthy merchant. Her mixed race heritage did not impede her ability to blend into high society, as her situation was not uncommon in Louisiana.
As Aveline grew into her role as an assassin, she discovered that she could fluidly switch between social strata just by altering her clothing. This is the basis of the game’s Persona System, accessible through a variety of changing rooms scattered throughout the game world that are unlocked in a way similar to unlocking shops in previous Assassin’s Creed games. Aveline has three personas she can use to blend into different venues: the Slave, the Lady, and the Assassin."
Ohhh a new trailer for AC:Lib.
See Connor and Aveline together at about 0:46. Arrrrggghh. On the Xmas list :D
