Re: Assassin's Creed: Liberation

Any idea if Liberation will have multiplayer?

If it does i doubt it'll have a big following anyway because of AC3 multiplayer

Assassin’s Creed’s New Black Heroine Represents a New Kind of Liberation

http://kotaku.com/5928265/assassins-creeds-new-black-heroine-could-represent-a-new-kind-of-liberatio...

"According to the Ubisoft Montreal developer showing Liberation, the game's bi-racial heroine has a father who was a French merchant and a mother who was a freed slave. When I asked whether Aveline's father had owned her mother, the developer demurred at answering the question. He made it seems like he might be giving away a plot point if he told me what I wanted to know."

It's an intelligent article but it has biased written all over it :/

I will still be getting it though...

Re: Assassin's Creed: Liberation

Kotaku has plenty of info up, link below!

Dressing Up Like A Slave (Or A Posh Lady) And Whipping Your Enemies In Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation

http://kotaku.com/5935013/dressing-up-like-a-slave-or-a-posh-lady-and-whipping-your-enemies-in-assas...

  • Aveline has access to a number of dressing rooms scattered about the city—in them, she can change between costumes that hinder her abilities but make it easier for her to blend in.

  • The outfits I saw were the "Lady" outfit and the "Slave" outfit, which my demonstrator referred to as the "Servant" outfit, but which the game called "Slave." Not a huge deal, but I'm still getting a sense of how direct the game will be with the realities of slavery in the south.

  • The third outfit I saw was Aveline's regular assassin's garb—whens he's wearing that, she's somewhat suspicious-looking by default, and templars will be alerted to her if she acts too conspicuously.

  • First, my demonstrator donned the "Lady" outfit, a posh green getup that has Aveline looking like a proper southern lady, complete with bustle and parasol.

Re: Assassin's Creed: Liberation

Hmm looks interesting. The outfit changing will be cool :smileyhappy: A good idea. Although not sure I would want anything extra than the shops. I will have to see how it works.

Also getting a sense of achievement for unlocking outfits was cool like when you get 100% synchro:

Spoiler

But you didn't get to use them much really as by this time you had completed the game :/ So this will be a good use of different outfits in game :smileyvery-happy:

Re: Assassin's Creed: Liberation

Check out this rather nifty PlayStation Blog post all about Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation's Aveline, its chock full of insightful info!

http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2012/10/17/aveline-the-chameleon-personas-in-assassins-creed-iii-libe...

"Born of a French father and African mother through a commonlaw marital system referred to as plaçage, Aveline enjoyed all the privileges of her father’s position as a wealthy merchant. Her mixed race heritage did not impede her ability to blend into high society, as her situation was not uncommon in Louisiana.

As Aveline grew into her role as an assassin, she discovered that she could fluidly switch between social strata just by altering her clothing. This is the basis of the game’s Persona System, accessible through a variety of changing rooms scattered throughout the game world that are unlocked in a way similar to unlocking shops in previous Assassin’s Creed games. Aveline has three personas she can use to blend into different venues: the Slave, the Lady, and the Assassin."
