Assassin's Creed vs. National Treasure

Assassin's Creed 3 has it's story around the American revolution and Conner (the main character) seems to be working with the American against the "red coats". Since the first game the assassins biggest enemy has always been the Templars.

In the National Treasure movies they tell you that almost every founder of USA is a mason (Including George Washington) which who has strong relations to the Knight Templar.

How do you think these two stories will collide and will Ubisoft with Assassin's Creed 3 change the story just to be on the winning side?

Re: Assassin's Creed vs. National Treasure

I think it's going to be really interesting. I am going to learn a thing or two too, ay? Not sure if Connor will be totally on the American side though as he is kind of a free agent and being half native American he is will not be seen as being on equal terms with the "continental United States".

"Most Native Americans who joined (American Revolution) the struggle sided with the British, based both on their trading relationships and hopes that colonial defeat would result in a halt to further colonial expansion onto Native American land"

So perhaps if all the USA masons have links to the templars then they are infact the enemies? So Conner will have no qualms in assassinating them :smileyvery-happy: Hmm...

This ^

I thought the movie was amazing from start to finish, if Uncharted release a movie I think it will top national treasure.

As for the game, I think it will do the game positives, the more history they play with the more interesting it becomes because it only means you have to go and learn about this era or research a little more about this person.

What a fantastic series it has become, for people who enjoy the game from game play to background history research/learning. I'm sure AC3 will impress everyone throughout the game :smileyhappy:

Lol that may be the case, but don't you like playing the game and being like 'Bloody hell, who is this chap?' and researching about it, so you have a better understanding :smileyhappy:

Oh, entirely :smileyhappy: I guess it's a great way to get those interested to spend time reading through the Animus Database too :smileyvery-happy:

Animus Database and the MGS Database were such great ideas!! They should have done more with it!
