First impressions of the beta are "it's okay".  I love Brotherhood online but I'm yet to be impressed with Revelations.

It can be hard to get into a game.

The personas lack the charm of the Brotherhood ones, they also don't seem so different from each other or so well defined, which is surprising considering they're supposed to have backstories that you unlock.

You now can stun quite easily from within a blend group, but have no chance if you're not in one.

It seems a lot of levels to get through before you unlock smoke bombs etc.  This will hand a massive advantage to experienced players against noobs.

It looks nice.  Both graphics and presentation have be improved.

It lacks instructions.  As someone else said there are two tutorials but they offer only basic information.  They don't even tell you the buttons for a lot of stuff!

I've just read on another forum that the beta will be open to everyone on the 8th so for all those that don't have ps+ or got a code through Uplay you'll have 3 days to try it out if it's true.

Thats stupid though just because they were to lazy to send everyone who is a uplay member on ps3 a beta jey

It's not stupid, it's basic marketing. They're pushing their Uplay product. Nothing wrong with that. And I'm sure it'd be more lazy to put it on the store rather than split up the invitations and use it as an marketing ploy.

i finnaly got a code and played for a fair bit now  but i kinda preffer brotherhood as it seemed harder.. and i miss the hellequin as all the new characters suck but i love the new facial expressions when your attacked and stuff thats a great touch

artifact assault is so freaking lame.
It's too easy to defend, I just use knives and a trip wire bomb near popular escape routes, and there's no challenge!
I kill them, and get an easy 200 pointers frequently.
Now if I attempt to steal the artifact, it seems impossible, mainly in the map GALATA, god damn I hate that map for artifact.
It's too open and hard to sneak in. There are always 2+ defenders, meaning if I just try to use stun to grab it and run, I'll soon be dead.

If I try to just go get it, there'll be tripwire bombs and many hunters nearby! I've quitted playing it really, and when it comes on rotation when I play manhunt, I just defend so at least I get some good xp. It isn't nearly half as fun as manhunt! /rant

took me 3 hours to download and the game looks good its hard to find a game unless you go into custom options

not my kind of game so may pick it up when it reduces to £19.98
