Your thoughts on Revelations?

[ Edited ]

Currently on DNA Sequence 3. It's a bit of a slow start if I'm honest and no better than Brotherhood as of yet. Though the hook blade is impressive. I also think it's harder to achieve full sync in a mission as I've found myself having to go out of my way to get 100%. E.G ''Kill 5 people from a bale of hay'' in the 2nd or 3rd mission in DNA Sequence 1. As for online, I'm enjoying it! :smileyhappy: I'm finding the trophies online too easy though as I already have most of them. I just need to play every game mode and get to level 20 I think!

l'll obviously give this game a little more time before I pass a proper judgement but these are my thoughts so far.

Re: Your thoughts on Revelations?

Yes I agree. The single player is harder i.e. full sync and the multiplayer is easier. I got my 13 bonus trophy in my first multi session! I am actually relieved because AETOM in Brotherhood was a nightmare!

I think the main thing with it, is that is hasn't moved forward. i.e. the graphics are a little ropey in places and it's basically the same as Brotherhood apart from the "Desmond is trapped" element.

Did you play a Desmond sequence yet? Ha ha ha! OMG. ***** lol. I was thinking someone had accidently slipped something in my drink lol. Very weird.

Re: Your thoughts on Revelations?

Ive done 4 Desmond sequences now, and to be honest Im just finding them annoying more than anything.

I've rather just get a cutscreen of his past instead of the weird lego puzzle maze thing.

Yeah like you said nothing feels new which is a shame. I think I'll get into it a bit more as the story develops. Nothing will ever beat AC2 which in my opinion is the best Assassin's Creed to date in terms of storyline. As much as I love Ezio, part of me feels kinda glad that his journey is coming to an end. This game needs a fresh, new character. Which no doubt we'll see in next year's Assassin's Creed 3.  Yeah I've played two, in a weird way they're kinda creepy. Especially the 2nd one with all the funny noises at the end. I'm a wuss mind! :smileytongue:

Re: Your thoughts on Revelations?

Mixed feelings for me. Ezio is completely different, IMO he has no resemblance to previous games. I know he's older but still doesn't look at all line him. Not sure if I'm feeling the whole Turkish assassin side of the story but that's just be. One think I'm not liking is the whole collecting different items create a wide variety of bombs. Just stick to the smoke bomb and leave it at that. Oh and not keen on the whole Desmond stuck in the animus, seems a bit clique. I'll have to see if it grows on me but so far not a epic ending to te trilogy

Playing: SR3, ACR, MW3 Awaiting: GTA5!!!

Re: Your thoughts on Revelations?

Enjoyed what I've played so far, but I don't really bother much with the bombs. The 100% sync looks like it could take a while, and playing MP for me is much more enjoyable than Brotherhood. Looking forward to finding out what happens following on from AC2 and in particular AC: Brotherhood.

:smileyhappy:

Those yellow eyes are making me feel a bit of a disconnect from ezio; he looks like a demon outta supernatural. I seriously don't get how developers overlook this stuff.

I think there is a reason for it. I have not completed the game but aspects of the memories and artifacts are this colour lol.

I noticed his yellow eyes straigh away though I think the reason is

Like others have said I also prefer AC2 then ACB.

The story doesn't seem that good I'm on sequence 6 and its a bit dull. Combat doesn't seem as good. ACB you used to be able to go on massive streaks linking one kill to the next but that function doesn't seem to work as well. Those Jessairies :smileysurprised: my god they are annoying bugger's

Bombs do have  a place unlike what someone else has said. Because the Chinese had be using them long before the 16th century. And Turkey had a long history of scholars and alchemist experimenting with gunpowder.

Also I think the armour is to big. He's an Assassin not a knight. AC2 had the best. Light armour on the fore arms, shoulders, chest/torso and his boots.

What on earth are those Desmond missions for? Only done 1 but if they are all like that then W T F :Stupid: Would they not be better if the animus took Desmond in to his own memories like with Ezio rather than some strange empty world.
