While trying to save Copernicus  in his first mission  -

Ezio  for some reason always at some point keeps walking backwards on his own , it doesn't allow me to attack or do anything but watch -

But as soon as a guard attacks Ezio , Ezio counters & kills them all on his own.....   Until a Brute comes along & then Ezio can't / won't defend & gets killed by the Brute.

Making this particular mission impossible to even complete for me

Tried 3 different  controllers - Nothing helps.
