Hi.
I have the latest V2.0 Sony Official Bluetooth Headset (Well, it's an earpiece really)
I am trying to adjust the Mic-In level in the PS3 XMB.
The device is working properly, but people are saying that they can't hear me that clearly, so I was going to adjust the mic in level from the default 3 to either 4 or 5.
But, it won't keep the changes. It does let me select the input level and highlight it, then change it from 3 to 4 or 5, but it will not stay at that setting, it just reverts back to the level 3
I have tried this with the High Quality setting on and off, but it makes no difference.
I have NO other bluetooth device running, and NO other headset in use either.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be very welcome.
Thanks.

Hi.
Thats the problem, it Won't let me save them.
When I go in to change them the "Save Settings" option is there, but as soon as I alter it from 3 to 4 or 5 it fades out and won't give me the option to save, just go back.
It's very strange, and very annoying.
Thanks for trying to help though

He can't, though.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but this headset is locked to level 3, just like the first version of the headset is, and it's the same situation if you're using a PS Eye.
I assume it's because it's known hardware, that's why they've locked it to level 3.

Just thought it be like when setting your audio to go out through the AV cables instead of HDMI for times I want to use my guitar amp if you press circle its says settings won't be saved then you have to keep going right until you get to save.
Love playing on the amp, the sound of tanks and Havoc, feels like the rooms shaking
I presume the next door neighbours don't like it though![]()

Hi.
Thanks for the replies everyone.
I am confused as to WHY they have locked it to 3? Why can't we adjust it to whatever WE want as the paying customer, this seems silly.
So, where am I now with my original problem? And, if you remember the advert where the guy was wearing one where he was outside and a police car or fire engine was going by etc, but his friend could still hear him fine because of the "Superb Voice Clarity" and "Sound Cancelling" dual high quality microphones?
why cant I set it to whatever I want, after all, it is MINE, or do I just have it on a lease from Sony even though I paid for it?
Crap, what a pain in the A*^
