I was so bored so i made this list of all the battlefield games that there is (No gamepacks). Also there is a gameplay video after the name so you can see what did it look like. lets begin...

battlefield 2 (not bad company 2) has always been the better one of all the BF games.

used to play it all the time on PC, more driveable stuff,more to unlock and its more team based

and the ranking system was good because no one would have top rank within 1day,2weeks or even 3 months.

and the classes: Spec Op's.Assault,medic,gunner(suport) and sniper...there were more classes

and they had better roles.

i miss the medic class from BF2 as now they have intergrated it into the gunner(suport) class

and they have itergrated some of the gunner class into assault like giving ammo.

medics never used to carry LMG,s.lol

i just hope BF3 is more like BF2 and they bring back the commander(was good where one person played commander

and squad leaders had to request UAV's,Artilary and vehicle drops from the commander.

BF2 had a much better reason to play in squads even if you didnt know who there were.

Yea! The best part of BF2 is those huge maps! Wake island is a lot bigger in BF2 than in BF1943. I don't know how big it is in 1942 but still... and of course th commander! It was awesome thing in old BF games. in BF2 commanders could drop vehicles, use UAV and other stuff...

The OP already stated it was because he was bored. And it light of a recent, er, mass debate, it's good for people who's only frame of reference for Battlefield is Bad Company to see where the series comes from.
