Bunny Hopping - constantly jumping to avoid incoming fire and to find the nearest cover

I'm getting sick of shooting up someone, only for them to dodge my bullets by bunny hopping then killing me as im out of ammo

Uncharted 2 was bad enough for bunny hopping, but in BF3, its clearly worse

I wish it was like Call of Duty where you cant jump high constantly

So anyone else or is it just me?

I can say that I hate people who jump around like an idiot, I have only noticed this in the last few weeks I have been playing amongst other things but then again, I find myself doing it sometimes lol

Not really, I think I've just got used to it after a decade or so of watching bunny hoppers. It used to agitate me I guess.

Ah come on, people have the right to jump. It's not like it's exploiting a faulty game mechanic or anything, it's a viable tactic for dodging bullets/shifting them to a less vulnerable body part (unless you were, ahem, aiming in between their knees, say...).

I do sometimes bunny hop when trying to evade either enemy tank or sniper fire when I'm out in the open. Not going to make myself any more of an easy target than I already am with no cover.

Resistance 1 was the worst game for hopping, imo.

Yes it always annoys me when I some somebody jumping about like that. It's not like staying alive is so important that you have to look like a after all its just a game you can respawn. Also resistance 1 wasn't so much hopping as some kind of weird dance around each other

I killed LA earlier,  did my Sunday best jumping on the kill cam just for him.

Must remember next time I go walking through a gun fight on my daily travels, to not get shot I must jump through the hailing bullets.
