Everyone is needed and the number of people volunteering is great. There are other games to play after this one, I think everyone will get a chance. Anyone who misses out will go to the top of the list for the next game, so I won't worry myself if my place is taken tomorrow when I try to join.
I know we've got amazing players here and if they each play their favourite kit or vehicle our flexibility and adaptable style will win the day. Keep your ears open for whomever needs help.
I still think everyone should try to join the server, reserves included, its better to have full squads than wait ages for someone who can't make it for some unforeseen reason. Good luck everyone.

Yes its still on 8pm.
I think fski is still at work, so i'll just mention that we don't move until we get his signal. He'll join specter2142 the French captain in a text chat and they'll agree when to GO! anything else would be a false start. As tricky mentioned to me in a PM - if everyone could switch to team chat whilst waiting it would help alot.
Press the start button and go to the squad screen, you'll see which squad you're in, and down the bottom is a VOIP toggle between 'squad' 'team' or 'off'. Set to 'team' to hear everyone, speak freely -the other team can't hear you.
If you want to shuffle yourselves about to be in squads with friends thats fine if there's room. The password for the server is still 456789 at the moment, and the server is set up now ready to go. Search for 'OPC Server' in the search tab of your server browser.
Team balancing is OFF to allow you to get into the correct team. Everything else is normal. No DLC weapons are allowed, only stock basic BF3 guns. No tac lights, IRNV scopes or laser pointers. No base spawn attacking - you'll be kicked out, keep a respectable distance from the enemy home base.
If fski is late home, someone else will have to negotiate with the French captain for a 'Go' signal.

Oh snap. I just remembered, I'm heading to my brothers tonight for dinner. On the chance that I'm not on the server before 8, then someone else may take my spot. If I do arrive late, I'll stick myself in a que incase someone loses connection, or needs to leave. Frig sake, was looking forward to this event to!
