Rush mode is a fairer test for a tournament imo. A simple win / loss scenario. Our game should have been a draw but we failed to make a good start from the Russian base in the first round. We were let down by the GO! signal.
I'm not accusing anyone of cheating, it was a misunderstanding thats all. I was the first to leave our base in a fast jeep and as I did we were already losing 2 flags. Everyone played great and the teamwork was fantastic, if we'd had a fair start things might have been different.
Rush depends less on a starting signal because its not about domination but still allows each side to display superior teamwork for the win. I'm not a massive RUSH fan, but its much better for competitions.
I can understand why people are losing interest in this with the rules as they are, its mostly down to a lucky head start with no referee or adjudication possible, and a gentleman's agreement sounds great but doesn't work in practical terms.

I sure enjoy a good game of Rush. I thought of something for the tournament here, is it possible to set the "Players needed to start match" to a full 24? If that's possible, it'll just restart the round as soon as we're a full team on both sides, and the round start would mark the Go! signal.
Another comment, I'm wondering if it would've been easier to manage this, if they had set a specific time for the match prior to starting the tournament. Eg. Wednesday at 7pm GMT. That way there wouldn't be the need for arranging it, only a "Who can join, Yes/No"

Yeah, or they should have had a referee from a neutral country in the text chat room just to give the GO to both teams, along with guidelines about waiting in vehicles etc.
Hopefully future competitions will be better thought out at the planning stage.
*edit, Watching Lewiz make successive HALO / suicidal parachute jumps into our flag was funny though, that guy is dedicated ![]()

Yeah, that's not a bad suggestion. Shame we can't join a match and just watch the thing, like you can on some other games. That way we could have one, or probably better, two neutral referees, to check on the teams.
(Though it's probably a bit too casual to get so involved with it)

Hello dudes,
didn't you know the new rule? Fski didn't posted it here I see.
For the next matches:
Because there were some problems, please take a zero-Card will not be counted, but is only used for teambuilding. so all have enough time to join.
That means, we will play three rounds and only the last two rounds were scored. The first round is only for teambuilding and joinig to the server, so everybody have the same chances when the second round start. You can also make an other map for teambuilding.

As i said with fski and Cimbrer on twitter, and in complete agreement with LSD-39, I too believe that the french cheated in the first round.
the minute fski said 'GO', the french practically captured both A & B flags within 5 seconds. they were waiting just outside of them for the word to go
I wont be available this wednesday as I've been invited to a special VIP Section of a special Assassin's Creed III viewing event ( https://p.twimg.com/AwyjJTxCIAA_i8O.jpg:large )
But i'll be rooting for you all to win! ![]()
Plus, I saw a few of their players with Tac Lights on (as in equipped on the weapon, switched off) Now see this is confusing me - Are we allowed the attachment on our guns but not switched on, or not have it on the weapon at all? in my opinion i dont understand why they are banned :/

Excuse me, but here, it's crazy !!
that how it happened :
In that chat, Fski said 3...2...1... GO !
When he write GO in our chat, one of my teammates write GO in the French chat, so we start the match in the second ! Our tactic is based on Blitzkrieg, we trained for that.
So, if you've been submerged, it's simply that we're better than you !
You represent a nation ! Be a worthy !
