Re: BF3 Prem Worth the £40 ?

If you plan on getting all of the DLC packs anyway, then it'll be worth it, as you'll save money and get some extra bits.

TBH, DICE have given me damn near 400 hours of play time on this game. They deserved another £40 just for that :smileyvery-happy:

I agree with the 2 above!

You make a saving on the DLCs - so if your were planning on getting them all then yeah go for it!

You get the DLCs a couple of weeks earlier

You get a few extras too...

I was umming and arghing, but im glad i took the plunge!

Re: BF3 Prem Worth the £40 ?

For the maps alone it's worth it. If some of the other things interest you then added bonus. Everything else for me feels like just filler to try to justify the price. There really isn't any of Premium stuff that interest me, I just wanted the maps at a cheaper price.

My main complaints are:

''jumping the queue''.Nearly everyone has premium now, so that feature isn't even a feature now & only unlocking camo's  for only 4 weapons. Which is even worse for me, as I don't really like the 4 weapons.

Not in my case, purely because map packs suck.

Care to explain why instead of just trolling?

You paid 40 pounds for a game that only shipped with 9 maps, vehicle's and weapons etc, and a mediocre single player.

But 40 pounds for 20 new maps, new vehicle's and game modes sucks?

Now I understand this has to be appealing to players who enjoy the game still, and want to extend thier enjoyment more. There's only so many times I can run around the same map so new ones are just a bonus.

Plus I'll get many more hours out of BF3 then I would spending 40 pound on any new game :smileyhappy: So I, as a Battlefield player, wins.

If you want new maps and like the look of the ones being offered then its a great way to save money on them while getting a few nice extras too :smileyhappy:

Personally i'm not really interested in the coming maps so it's not really worth it for me but it might be for you!

You seem to think I live under a bridge, I'm not a troll, I swear! :smileytongue:

I payed for the engine, the maps, the guns.

Paying £12 for a couple of guns which are quite samey to the ones before and a new place to run around in just doesn't appeal to me. Sure, it looks a bit different, but for me, I'd rather pay £40 for a whole new game rather than a extension onto a game I've already sunk 50+ hours into ( and without a doubt more to come! ).

Although, one of my friends may be buying me a map pack because he has a psn voucher and nothing to spend it on so I send I'd take it but he wants me to buy the pack so we can play together on the new maps, and I wouldn't say no to anything free! ( part from murder, death and faeces. )

So it just seems like a desperate attempt at getting more money from us. And yes, people who play over 400 hours should pay for this because they've dedicated a large chunk of there time into the game so variety would excite them, but as a more casual gamer I'd rather stick with the maps at hand and ace them.

edit : I quite enjoyed the singleplayer + co op, definitly spent enough time on them to get the trophies :smileytongue:!
