right. gone back to pstore, went to ps3 addons, got to BF3 add ons part. close quarters was in there, sitting as free.... i think if you purchase premium through ingame you should download via ingame & vice versa..... downloading 1142mbs.... another long download tonight

I managed to buy premium through the in-game store, PS3 froze up though when I tried to download the maps! The regular servers seem to be working OK again anyway.

is it not a warning that you can buy the premium pack but still be able to buy the separate BF3 DLCs as well from ps store?

I bought my Premium from within the game.  It said if I did that I should also get any future map packs from within the game also,  because the PS Store would charge me separately e.g. i'd be charged twice. 

I then went in-game to get the Close Quarters pack and a contradictory message told me to go to the XMB store,  but it listed the pack as free.

I chose to believe the first message and downloaded the pack without a problem.  

They've made a mistake on the message is all.  Buy everything within the game and there'll be no problem.

I agree, I got my dad COD Elite, & although he only plays the maps, the added co-op stuff is a nice bonus.

BF3 should of had new co op levels included...Not camos or tips videos.

I won't be buying close quarters, it isn't really my kind of map. I am not keen on Metro so I know I won't like close quarters.

I could of course be completely wrong, but I get the impression it's going to be a lot of shooting from the hip running and gunning with a substantial mix of people blowing the hell out of the building with RPG's etc

I will however be looking forward to the new out in the open big map when it comes out, whats it called again ?

Now that one really does appeal to me.
