Look this has all gotten a little silly no matter what opinion is yours they are games nothing more. MAG is a brilliant idea as well you all know and the first attempt at a game of it's size/type on PS3. BC2 is also a great game in terms of the atmosphere.

You all need to kiss and make up axcept your differences n quit with the tough guy internet-o-fighting. MAG connot be seen in it's entirity yet because the code anyone who played it recieved was no where near the full package to allow for the ease of downloading, so ye certain aspects of the game looked old, downgraded i.e. textures, animations and other nuances that that would have otherwise shown it's full potential. Now BFBC was ace when it worked but I'm sorry I remember the lag and the coms as do alot of you coz I've read your posts in the past. I hope they get it right this time I genuinely do but where ever E.A. are concerned I get a little pessimistic, they don't display the best aftercare, do they.

Oh and by the way I don't like either of them in much the same way I don't like MW2, but I wouldn't argue about it it's just down to personal preferance, I was an avid RSV fan because of it's smaller guy's n guns approach (no noob tubes, rockets or vehicles) but alas that game came apart at the seams too. I still loved it when it worked though, coz of it's style n if any other developer has the nuts to take a step back from the race to produce something similar I'd be on it all the time, but I fear the bug of bigger better more  has become a pandemic in gaming and I may need to now hang up my war slippers.

In the end though who really gives that much of sweary anyway, this has all been a waste of your and my time, thanks for reading, Chucky Egg 4 Laife.

Well to answer the original post, I think BFBC 2 will definitely deaden MAG presence and influence on the PS3. Seeing the vids of the beta and the reactions to it from those who were in it, I fear MAG will be slightly missing out on sales because of it.

Really liked the MAG open beta and played it for 35-40 hours, still holding onto my plans to get BFBC2 tho because i love the frostbite engine and loved BFBC1. However the patch that's coming to MAG on day 1 really makes it a hard choice for me since it fixes one of my biggest issue with MAG, the framerate (adjustments to weapons and armor also sounds great).

A few other fixes there too so people canceling their preorders on a product that was still in beta is kinda stupid (unless it's the very core gameplay they didn't like then it's understandable)

Yeah, gota say some of the patch fixes are problems i hated in MAG, i might do some back peddling and get it at some point , but it wont be this side of bfbc2

MAG is so addicitve, those who have MAG will surely stick to it and when March arrives, will play bc2 and MAG hand in hand.

Level 22 in MAG already only played it friday night, saturday and sunday

Think I'll be one of the people trading in MAG for BC2. Can;t say for certain yet though. Playing MAG loads, giving it a good chance, the game can be so awesome at times. But i hate when a match lasts the full 20 minutes, with no one talking! Feels so lonely haha.

I like to buy games that's access-able for me and my dad, but he doesn't enjoy this one either. Still think MAG is a good game, does a lot of things right, but just isn't for me. I like my tanks, big explosions and destruction, plus the awesome sound that BC2 gives!

TBH, you could say they are the same type of game, in terms of huge maps and jeeps, apc's ect!
But, they are very different in the gameplay, Obviously MAG is more objective based and has no destruction!

They are both cool games and i will be playing BOTH

Cant wait for Bad Company 2
