Re: Battlefield Premium

If they put guns in premium almost everyone will buy it,  not wanting to miss out.  There's always a chance with DICE of a balancing mishap and a fair chance of new weapons being overpowered.  Even if they aren't,  if you get killed often by a DLC weapon you don't have - You'll go buy it for yourself to get some payback.

'Overpowered' relates fundamentally to how often you see a certain weapon in the kill cam,  and naturally everyone will be trying their new toys a lot so you'll see more of them.  DLC weapons will always seem overpowered,  just by distribution.  It will be good for sales.

Re: Battlefield Premium

Thank god EA have learned from COD elite mistakes > >

This is good move put all the DLC into one package along with a nice bonus. It something decent tbh more devs should do it.....way better than how elite runs.

As long it like 1 month ahead am ok with this hope it like 1week or days....

Either that or stop playing the game. I know I would rather do that than spend more money on a game I already bought because i'm missing out otherwise.

Re: Battlefield Premium

Any new features they add better include the reduction of suppression.

Seriously, spend £100's on a HDTV, £100's more on a HD console, shell out for a game with a good graphics engine and they effectively smear vaseline all over your eyeballs the second someone sneezes in the next room

Seriously, When I signed up for next gen gaming, there was  no "play through tracing paper" clause!

Re: Battlefield Premium

[ Edited ]

Details have been leaked online....thoughts

"

Battlefield Premium will be priced at £35/$60, according to a new listing on Coolshop.co.uk.

The listing, which shows a June 29 release date and a £34.96 price, also carries the following description.

“BF3 Premium Service is 1 code in a box to give the consumers early access to the BF3 DLC expansion packs – Back to Karkand (already released), Close Quarters (releasing June), Armoured Kill (releasing Sept) and End Game (releasing December).”

Battlefield Premium, will most likely be revealed by EA during its press conference. It’ll include the DLC mentioned above, as well as “premium benefits” and a mysterious fifth DLC expansion called Aftermath.

MP1st lists the contents:

  • 20 Maps.
  • 20 New Weapons.
  • 10+ New Vehicles.
  • 4+ New Game Modes.
  • 30+ Assignments.
  • 20+ Dog Tags.
  • Also includes “Premium Benefits” which are made up of skins, camos and most importantly early access to all DLC.
  • These maps, weapons, vehicles game modes assignments and dog tags are spread across the following DLC:
  • Back to Karkand.
  • Close Quarters in June 2012.
  • Armored Kill in autumn 2012.
  • Aftermath in late 2012.
  • End Game in spring 2013."

One thing I dont understand though is how can it give you early access to DLC as this is released on 29th of June yet CQ is due mid June.

SPLITTERS!!
