I dont really want to play Battlefield anymore and its a shame because i used to really enjoy it. The new servers have just turned the whole experience into a giant pile of juvenile crap. I used to load up the game, find a Dice server and start playing. All the maps, varied gameplay lots of fun. Now i have to spend 10 minutes wading through piles of pathetic lame servers created by adolescent morons who use only one map or one specific weapon (knife only) and then kick me out for no apparent reason other than the fact i killed them.

If i actually manage to find a comparatively 'decent' server it usually has hardly anyone playing it and after one game most people seem to quit leaving the game empty.

Most servers i encounter are all very specific, Lets just drive tanks, lets just fly jets, lets just use knife etc, Just give me a bloody normal full map rotation game with people in it, like the old days. I go into a game now and there are 10 people all waiting for a chopper to respawn instead of actually playing the game.

I hate the new servers, the morons have taken over and i dont want any part of it.

Its because kids get too much pocket money these days, when I was a lad in the 70's we only got a 10 pence mix if we were lucky. Now we've got 12 yr old server admins lol. DICE need to price them out of the market. If servers were 100 quid each we wouldn't have this problem

Use the search function to find official servers. Type DICE for Dice servers or PRGM for EA servers. Once you find a server you like favourite it for quick and easy access.

Yeah you are so right, i hope Dice and EA can survive on the kiddies pocket money because i wont be spending anymore money with them if this juvenile trash continues.

Thank you, i have already tried this and servers i have favourited have dissapeared and games i play are either fairly empty or rapidly become empty. Its just not the same anymore

LOL thats exactly the reason I rented a server, so I wouldnt get stuck with 10year old host kicking all the time.

they really need to add an option in server browser setting "official servers only"

i tried un-ticking "custom last night expective it take away all the rented servers, but dont work

i still get a list full of clan servers, sniper only, handgun only, epic vehicle battles

i think this is because the server admin is using default setup with, message informing of admin enforced restrictions, ie. "knife and handgun only or kick!" every time you spawn

Hi.

I was in a server the other day and was being continually killed by some retard in a heli spawn flying / camping and a few people tried to take it out.

But, since the latest Patch, and I use the term "Patch" loosely, I have found the bloody stingers to be pretty much useless. You might as well be throwing mars bars at the helis with their never ending counter measures that seem to reload faster than I can with a hand gun.

I did finaly manage to take out the chopper after four stingers, re-supplying my ammo, and then firing another three stingers.

And my reward for managing this.........being kicked from the server. It turned out that the guy in the heli was the server admin.

Seriously, this needs sorting out.

We need another patch to sort out the *****ing machine guns too, they now fire all over the place except where you are actually aiming, the recoil is ridiculous, and while they are at it, make an adjustment to the server listing so it gives you the opportunity of using Official servers, or Rented pre puberty servers.

How difficult can this be?

This to me is just another nail in the coffin of BF3, and goes to show that DICE / EA are just interested in grabbing as much money as possible.

This game had such potential.

Thats funny because me and my team were dropping helicopters like flies the other day. If you're team is getting destroyed by a single helicopter just leave the match as soon as humanly possible, leave that stupid team to get destroyed and fins a match with people who know what they are doing.

Airport camping is game breaking I find.

Stingers work great now, at least you can disable things in 1 hit. 

LMG class, best using the bipod, I can't use them with foregrip anymore. But if you stick a bipod on, set up overlooking a flag while your friends capture, you can easily take out the enemy, or offer suppression  while your team kills them. Defiantly one of the best & most useful classes now when used correctly.

For DICE servers just does  a server search.. But I do agree a bit, the rented servers now show up more than DICE servers.
