If you are revived, the death doesn't count, but the kill does. Next time you are bleeding out, check the score board. Your death toll won't increase until you actually go to respawn (or the round ends while you are bleeding out).

Fully aware of deaths not registering if your revived, but if you look at the leaderboards even taking into consideration that people will be revived during the match, the stats clearly show that some unfair gameplay has been going on!! Plus there's all the kills registered by his team mates which you may not have taken into consideration which means although it is possible, it remains highly unlikely . there are Matches with each player registering 100 plus kills and no more than 5 or 6 deaths total between them, killstreaks in excess of 500 etc etc, the list is endless, is this down to having a lot of medics on both teams or the more likely scenario of boosting taking place?

But if you got 5 mins spare, log into battlelog and have a look at the leaderboards, some crazy numbers up there. Massive killstreaks etc, but when you check out matches that these guys play in without their mates or other clan members, then for most of the games they play in, they're actually pretty *****.
For me personally, i got no chance of getting anywhere near the top of any leaderboards coz i'm just not very good at the game, but there are a lot of good, fair players out there who also have no chance
