Disable anti-aliasing option fixes controller input lag.

DICE have added an option to disable anti-aliasing in the new patch, they say that doing so improves the
controller input lag, and it does!! You'll find the option in the video section of the options menu, you can do it in game also. Anti-aliasing turned on softens the picture.

Must say I turned it off and didn't notice any difference in graphics but it does feel sharper control wise

I don't see a difference either but yeah, the controls are a bit sharper. I must've had a bit of control lag. I know I definitely did when I got the TV at Christmas before I noticed a GAME mode. It mustn't've compensated for all the lag.

Re: Disable anti-aliasing option fixes controller input lag.

I was testing this last night while I was messing about in an empty server. The controls feel exactly the same to me though I've not had any issues with input lag anyway. The game definitely looks worse with anti-aliasing off though. It's not a huge difference but I can definitely see a lot more jaggies.

Is nobody else but me puzzled as to why AA disabling is the thing that has fixed the input lag for some of us?

I really did not see that coming.

Engine and specs required must have caused lag on the console I guess.

Was it not happening to everyone? I thought those saying they weren't affected were just blinkered fanboys lol.

I has a phat ps3. Maybe it was only those?
