Just finished them all LOL. It was quite a task and doesn't even unlock a special dog tag or anything for the achievement Makes me wonder if they'll add more medals in the upcoming DLC packs. Hardest medal to get was squad deathmatch. Anyone else engaged themselves in this trivial pursuit ?

Cheers, yeah SQDM was terrible for my stats I lost 70 something games trying to get the 50 wins. Also the MCOM camper medal was painful, i'd like to apologise sincerely to all those people who thought they were about to plant a bomb only to get shot by a camping noob in the corner.

i was suprised that there was was a trophy for getting 1 of each ribbon but no special dog tag.

while it would be pretty great to get a trophy for getting all the medals it would add too much time to the platinum if it had been a standard trophy from release. however, if they add it as a DLC trophy which wouldnt be required for the platinum that would be pretty awesome along with a dog tag

I agree, it would have been a crazy requirement for the platinum. To be honest I started this task as soon as I got the game so its taken me a good six months and I play a lot. As soon as I finished a service medal with a soldier class or vehicle I purposefully avoided it and played a different way to aim for something else. I'm looking forward now to only playing my favourite modes and class, and improving my stats a bit.
Some people on battlelog did it back in January, which is amazing, they must play around the clock.
