Do you get a lot of angry messages from people you have played against in BF3? I've only even had one and that was because of a misunderstanding which was quickly cleared up

I've had it mate, in the end I had to turn my friends and messages off with the privacy settings because it was pretty bad and my kids use this machine sometimes, I won't risk them seeing bad stuff. I'm not sure if it was the same person using a different account but it was bad at one point. My FL is still off and I switch messages on only when i'm actually playing myself, afterwards I switch it off again. I prefer just to communicate with friends through forums and forum PM's.

Lol. Must have upset somebody big time. I think its stopped now. The privacy settings are useful, it was a good idea when they added it.

I love getting fan mail, makes me feel good that I actually upset somebody over a video game.

Last one I had told me to have initmate relations with myself because I kept killing them.

You should have said something like why should I have "intimate relations! with myself when I just had it with your skull

When I took someones tags 4 times it made me a "mother*****ing nooby son of a *****!" apparently.

If somebody got my tags 4 times I could be more annoyed at myself. Unless they were the type of person who purposefuly goes for knife kills at all times.

I actually got love mail the other day for once. I was doing gunner on a heli and helped take down an enemy attack chopper in a wrath of bullets and finished off the abandoning and fleeing pilot with a glancing shell of justice.

About a minute later I got a message from him. Thinking it was yet another tiresome letter of ill-will from a jealous nemesis I initially, in my flagrant lack of interest, didn't waste precious energy on pressing the PS button. I was surprised when later that day, in a mischievous mood, decided to get a gander if only for needed lulz. I opened it and it said, "How come I never get a good gunner like you?"

DICE should have included a quick way to send kudos to players during the game. It might improve the battlefield experience a bit, it could show as thumbs up on the scoreboard or HUD or something. I've had sniper duels before and wanted to send somebody a 'nice shot mate' msg, but often couldn't be bothered.
