so the rented servers have taken over, suprise suprise, oh well people supported it so i guess they wanted it.

People didnt support it. People wanted rented servers and they delivered on these...fair enough....but to them remove the official servers is just complete madness.

As far as I'm concerned if they dont bring these back not only will they see lack of interest in the DLC but also on future releases such as MOH etc. COD screwed everyone over with Elite and this put a lot of even buying the series again

It would seem DICE are going to the same way.

Not going to lie but the thought of being forced to search hard for a game that isn't extra tickets is actually putting me off playing it right now. It's daunting. I'd rather watch the news I tweeted them and got ignored

I have one Official -[DICE]- Server left. It's Conquest and Rush only, it's called: -[DICE]- BF3 CLASSIC ONLY - Normal Server 12430 if anyone is interested.

I was going to buy BF3 this week think ill get Max Payne 3 next week instead and stick with Bad Company 2. 

The online pass included with the game should give everyone the right to play on official servers. 

I mainly play conquest on Bad Company 2 if i can't play that mode on official BF3 servers i will avoid the game and borrow a copy just for the campaign.

That's an Aussie server with low ping though. I've not played this for a few days now, it takes far too much effort to find a decent game.

i never thought i would see the day i agreed with cloudburst on something, even partialy

i wish we could have the official dice servers back im tied of jumping into a game from quick match when i want to play a "normal" game of conquest, only to fine admin imposed restrictions

ie. sniper only, no shotguns, no revolver pistols,etc.

even when i un-tick the "custom" game mode selection in server browser (which accordin to ingame tips should configure the quick match to obey the same settings when searching for a server) i still end up in a rented server with, admin imposed restrictions.

Yeah but I have no issues with it and it's the only one I have left lol. Every rule I see on the rented servers never get obeyed by the players, if it were to say no base killing, there will be base killing, if it says no shotgun, there will be plenty of shotguns. I was in a match last night, doing really well in the air eliminating air threats for my team and I went in for a tank kill and accidentally crashed into the admin whilst pulling up and then he bans me because I did it the once.....
