judging by fullcrumbs thoughts on big and small regarding BC2 maps, is it fair to say his missus must be easily pleased?

I'm sorry but this is the sort of think that should be stopped. He came here to make a point about big being relative and yes it is but when talking about BF maps compared to BFBC maps the comparison would lead to BFBC2 maps being small.

And for people to start bullying just because he did not seem to get what you were saying, not even you but some one else. Everyone else jumps on the band wagon and gives him *****.

I've rarely found bullying of this sort on these forums but for some reason this seems to have got everyones panties in a twist and they think its OK to say hurtful things. Of course it was not just you, and fullcrumb may have been going about it wrong too but yeh.

Lets stop this please. RANT OVER.

you make a valid point, i actually thought i was taking a load off here and i have not replied since erm........ my previous reply which i thought was valid, however my previous response was met with this

another reason they may seem big to you though is that while others on BC2 have pushed on to take the 3rd set of crates, your left behind still on base 1 with a sniper rifle, thus when the time comes to be brave you find yourself travelling on foot for 5 mins to catch up with your team.

Nope;

1. I rarely stay in one spot with the sniper as I already explained if you had bothered to read the posts of the person you're addressing you *****ing retard.

2. I don't play Rush, I play conquest.

Also, you think I look stupid? The only logical explanation for that is you're to dense to understand what I'm typing. And I won't stop, every time someone replies to me I will reply back and tear apart their post like I do in every other thread, why? Because I'm an asshole and I like it.

Care to try again?

so i think its somewhat fair to say i am being extremly gentle considering the above.

your view on that would be most interesting

"your view on that would be most interesting".

I assume you are asking for my view? Well if you are i think that having to prove you were only defending yourself when you started insulting back says more than I need to.

And if you read, I did say that he was in the wrong as well. So lets not bother with the he said she said rubbish. I would hope everyone here is sensible enough to realize that its very pointless. But if you feel the need to respond to his insults / threats then who i am to stop you.

Re: How are Battlefield games different from Bad Company ones?

certainly not sir, i just found it somewhat bizzare that you would have a go!!! at my tongue in cheek comment when in fact i was trying to make this thread a bit of fun instead of the nonesense that has gone on, hence i actually agree with you to a certain extent.

however when you come on with the moral high ground approach i felt you were somewhat ill informed.

respond to insults??? hardly i actually had no reason to respond untill you posted, i think i made my post erm....... last week?? my one and only post on the subject and was happy to leave it at that.

again i was only trying to defuse the situation and have a bit of fun, but nice cop out none the less, go read my post where i actually agreed with what he said yet because of my final comment i get called a ********** retard???

well done son, nice dodge

Re: How are Battlefield games different from Bad Company ones?

LMAO you do realise that "big" and "small" are relative concepts? There is no absolute. Atoms and the Universe are extremities, but they are not end points because there is no absolute scale. This is where your argument fails (again). "Deadly" is an absolute concept. Something either is or isn't deadly.

Saying building A is bigger than building B, but both are big is irrelevant, because the implicit relativity is with you. I could similarly say that a bus is big, but a blue whale would disagree, because relatively the bus would be small.

You do make me laugh Infinite. That is the arguement over right there.

Anyway just to stir the pot, i am brand new to BFBC2 and found the maps quite big but as i said i haven't played the other BF games. To be honest i am a bit gutted i am new to this franchaise. BC2 is absolutely ace, definitely up there with my other favourite (KZ2)and i will definitely be getting the third one when it comes out.

p.s. 956hrs is quite impressive.

Re: How are Battlefield games different from Bad Company ones?

I think if you have a semi-decent PC, you could get Battlefield 2. Symonator or others could probably tell you better, as I've never played it, but I gather that is the fan favourite and still popular online. Plus it's cheap, doesn't have high requirements and has big maps. Of course this is all wot I heard off a bloke in the pub lol.

I personally love 2142, but I have no hope of getting it to run on my home PC. I would kill for a PS3 port of 2142. Even a cut down PSN only version would be sweet - as long as it was titan mode. Walkers and dropships FTW!

Re: How are Battlefield games different from Bad Company ones?

My PC is beyond a joke at the moment so i will just have to wait for BC3, that and dream of getting a KZ code.
